Wordless Wednesday - Yummy Goodness

The other day I was making a cake for my husband's birthday and I heard silence. As a parent, you know that is never a good thing. I look up and saw Isabella had climbed up on the couch with a bag of oreos and proceeded to eat them.


I put her in her high chair and let her have at it. We should all take time to enjoy the yummy goodness of oreos sometimes!

Wordless Wednesday - Pop

I've been thinking about my granddad a lot lately. He passed away when I was 19 and he used to spend so much time with our family.

This shot was taken during our last "good Christmas" together in 2003. He passed away Dec 27th of 2004, but was totally out of it on Christmas day.

Wasn't he cute? He was a marine and I only have a few pictures of him from when he was young-but he was seriously hot! :)

As I was searching through pictures, I found this. This is my mama holding me when I was a baby. (And if you're trying to guess by the outfit she's wearing-I was born in 85) :)

Wordless Wednesday - Passed Out

I was cooking lunch and the kids were playing upstairs. I looked on the monitor and saw this. I was trying to hold her off for her nap until after she ate lunch. I guess she had other plans. She fell asleep in the middle of Evan's room surrounded by the toys they were playing with.

Wordless Wednesday - 1 And 3

If you read my blog, you saw that Evan's Birthday was yesterday and he was 3. Isabella's birthday is tomorrow and she will be 1. Yesterday we went down to the creek to take a few pictures. I was a moron and forgot to bring my tripod so many were a little blurry, but I still got a few decent shots. I'll probably try for a few more this weekend.








I don't know anything about editing photos, but I wish I did. I like this picture but it was a little too bright on Isabella and too dark on Evan because of the shadows.

Wordless Wednesday - Bouncing Babies

I don't think I've posted any pictures of my kids using the bounce house since my review because it had been so incredibly hot. I plan on blowing it up for the birthday party next week so I wanted to bring it out to make sure everything was still OK with it. I took it out EARLY one morning and regret not bringing it out more in the past few months. The kids had a blast.

Wordless Wednesday - Evan 2 Years Ago

I guess I'm feeling extremely sentimental since *both* of my babies are having birthdays soon. It has just hit me hard. I have been going through old pictures today and decided I'd show how Evan looked EXACTLY two years ago.

Wordless Wednesday - Sleeping Baby

Isabella fell asleep shortly before the fireworks show on Saturday(I'm still not sure why they did it on Saturday instead of Sunday). We just put the seats down flat and let her snooze away until it was time for the fireworks.

Wordless Wednesday - Playing Together

SO my son just dropped my laptop off of the chair and the power cord broke. I am posting now because I only have 3 hours of power and probably won't be around tomorrow(Wednesday).

I HOPE Best Buy carries a Dell power cord-not sure what to do! AND I hope that is the only thing that is wrong!

OK, back to the post -

My kids LOVE to play together and even when they're fighting, it warms my heart!

Wordless Wednesday - My Daddy

I've had this blog for a little over 1 1/2 years and have shared hundreds(if not thousands) of pictures of my family. I mostly show shots of my kids-but I try to squeeze in some of my whole family. I've had several of my brother and sister lately, but I don't think that I show many pictures of my mom and dad.

We're all extremely close and we all went out wake boarding on Sunday. THIS is my daddy-I think these pictures describe him perfectly. He'll never grow up. :)

Wordless Wednesday - Sunrise On The Beach

If you saw my post on Monday, you know that I went to the beach for my birthday this week. I always like to get up early to watch the sunrise at least once while I'm at the beach. I heard Isabella moving around at 5:35 so I got up to go take some pictures. This was the shot from my balcony at Coral Beach Resorts And Suites in Myrtle Beach, SC at 5:45ish.


I went down to the beach to get these. I took lots more but for some reason I can't open the program that I usually do photo editing in so I had to use photobucket and it is going slow.

Wordless Wednesday - Getting Brave

Usually Evan is my wild man and wants to try everything. However, he's been really hesitant about the tube and wanted nothing to do with it. We were able to get him on it last weekend.


He even got REALLY brave and tried to get on his knees like we do sometimes. I went pretty slow and my sister snapped a bunch of pictures and got some video. And yes, I know he needed a haircut-we went and had that done Friday!

PS-no she doesn't have a life jacket on...but that's because we were parked on a beach and eating. We always have her AND Evan in a life jacket when we're moving or anchored in open water.
