New Menu Items At Olive Garden

We were provided with a gift card to faciliate this announcement.

My husband and I rarely go out on dates, but we usually Eat at Olive Garden when we do.  Olive Garden has been a favorite of mine since I was really young.  I could live off of their salad and bread sticks.  I always use their promotions or new menu items as an excuse to go back.  Lucky me, they just added 4 new menu items!

Appetizers:
·         Mediterranean Flatbread – Basil pesto and olive oil, topped with a blend of four Italian cheeses, artichoke hearts, olives, capers, roasted red peppers, and garlic.

·         Pizzaiola Flatbread – Italian sausage, pepperoni, roasted red peppers and homemade marinara with a blend of four Italian cheeses.

Small Plates:
·         Artichoke Fritti Small Plate – Olive Garden is bringing back a fan favorite! Artichokes hearts are lightly battered and fried, then topped with Italian cheeses. Served with a citrus aioli dipping sauce.

 Entrées:
·         Citrus Chicken Sorrento – Tender, grilled chicken breasts in a citrus honey glaze, inspired by the Italian city of Sorrento, famous for its lemon groves. Served with lightly-seasoned broccoli, artichokes and roasted vegetables.

We plan on going to Olive Garden this weekend and I am going to try the Artichoke Fritti.  It sounds(and looks) absolutely delicious.  Are there any new dishes you'd like to try?

I have not been to the Olive Garden in ages. Maybe I will have to go and see if they improved the menu by adding these items. The pictures look yummy.

Olive Garden is my favorite place to eat. I don't get to eat there often because I am the only one in my family that loves it.

Olive Garden is one of my husbands favorite places to eat. I'll have to hide this new menu item list though or he'll want to cancel all plans and go check it out ;)

These look so good! I'm almost tempted to see if I could replicate them myself, that flatbread looks almost do-able.
