Mamas & Papaps Armadillo Stroller

Mamas & Papas provided us with the Armadillo Stroller to facilitate this review.

With having three children and being a review blogger, we have had the opportunity to test more than our fair share of baby gear.  With all of that experience, I have an ongoing checklist when looking at anything - especially strollers.  Number one on my list would be that the stroller must be compact.  Number two - it has to be easy to fold(and pop back out).  Enter the Armadillo Stroller by Mamas & Papas.

The Armadillo was very easy to assemble.  My husband put it together in a matter of minutes with no issues.  Kallie Jane even helped.

One problem with many compact strollers, is that they don't recline(or that they barely do).  What good is a stroller if your toddler can't snooze in it?  The Armadillo has a great full recline.  The storage basket is also huge, which is a must in my eyes.  Some brakes on other strollers are so hard to use.  I end up having to bend down and use my hand.  Not the Armadillo.  The brake is extremely easy to use!

The Armadillo is extremely easy to fold.  My six year old can even do it - with one hand. It is also light enough for him to carry.

The canopy is the perfect size.  It covers her completely and has a little window so that I can look in on her.  The seat is plenty wide and has great padding for optimum comfort.

As if all of that wasn't enough, it also features a five point safety harness.  This stroller includes so many amazing features even with its compact size.

My only issue is that my daughter hits her head on the top.  She isn't even 2 1/2 in this picture and her head is all in the canopy.  Every time she rides in this stroller, her bow gets stuck in the canopy and it pulls her hair when she leans forward.  The canopy is removable, but I love the size of it and I like having it to shield sun or possibly rain.  If they made the back(or canopy) higher and added a cup holder, it would be the perfect stroller in my eyes.

Visit Mamas & Papas to learn more about the Armadillo and view their other products. The Armadillo is car seat compatible with the Cybex Aton, Maxi Cosi Cabrio Fix, Maxi Cosi Pebble, and Chicco Key Fit 30 (sold separately). Colors available: Lemon Drop, Black Licorice, Blue Indigo, Coral Pop and Stripe.

Loving that bright color and easy to open and close are SO important. I also like how light weight you said it is. That is also very important.

What an awesome stroller. It seems pretty durable and that canopy looks big enough to provide a lot of protection from the sun.

There is nothing better than a nice stroller when you have little ones. I have had a few that were nightmares to deal with. This one looks like it holds a lot and yet is small enough to use in stores.

This looks and sounds like an awesome stroller. Sadly my girls are way beyond stroller age.

I have a tall 2 year old as well and would have that problem as well too then. I'm looking for a light weight stroller so guess I will keep looking.

That looks like a great stroller! When my girls were little, strollers were so heavy and clunky and were a huge pain!

I need one of these for my 14 month old darling. She will love it.

looks like a big upgrade from our crappy umbrella stroller. The low ceiling of the canopy could be an issue, though.

Now that is a really nice stroller. I wish I had one of these when my son was still in a stroller.

This stroller sounds comfy with the extra padding in the wide seat. It has great features and I love the yellow canopy color. Too bad it doesn't adjust higher. Kallie Jane is so cute & growing so fast!

That canopy really does seem nice! Too often strollers have those little dinky canopies that don't really seem like they even serve a purpose other than to just be there.

This stroller looks awesome! I love the huge canopy, nothing worse than a canopy that doesn't actually provide shade! =)
