blog, videos, and fun downloads. The recipes are divided up into categories - breakfast, appetizers, guacamole, main dish, and Mexican inspired. You also have the option to search - which is my favorite feature. If you want to get creative with a certain ingredient or type of dish, simply type it in and see what comes up. I typed in beef and several ideas popped up - I would have never thought to use avocados in any of my beef recipes before!
The fried avocado taco recipe looks absolutely amazing to me. I was so excited when I clicked on the recipe and saw that I could actually make a shopping list by clicking the ingredients I didn't have in my pantry. I could also add the recipe to my favorites so that I can quickly find it again.
My two oldest kids are extremely picky, so I try to steer clear of many foods that they don't like. They supposedly aren't avocado fans, so that is another reason I rarely used them in my recipes. Thankfully, this site has me inspired to make new creations that they won't even realize contain avocados. They are cleverly disguised in several recipes such as the crispy shrimp tacos with mango guacamole pictured below. If you like avocados, you have got to check out the Avocados From Mexcio Community and all that they have to offer. You will be surprised by how much you can cook with avocados!
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Avocados from Mexico. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
