Vicks DayQuil & NyQuil - #1 Pharmacist Recommended Brand For Adult Cough/Cold/Flu Relief

I got sick in October, and it never seemed to go away.  I would be sick for a month, and then feel OK for 1-2 weeks, just to have it return.  My son brought home some nasty cough, my husband brought home the flu, and we seemed to just catch one thing after another.  Knock on wood, I'm finally feeling better and am so thankful for Vicks DayQuil & NyQuil.  It is the #1 pharmacist recommended brand for adult cough/cold/flu relief.

DayQuil-
Vicks DayQuil Cold & Flu Relief is Non-Drowsy and helps ease five symptoms of a cold – aches, fever, sore throat, stuffy head and cough. The active ingredients in the formula work to suppress the impulse to cough, help clear nasal congestion for easier breathing, help relieve minor aches and pains, and reduce a fever.  The liquid form is intended for adults and children 6 years and older, while the capsules are intended for ages 12 and over.  My husband I both used this while sick.  Even non-drowsy meds seem to make me sleepy, so I often skip taking anything during they day because I can't be tired while watching three small children.  This didn't make me near as tired as many other brands have, and it really did help relieve my symptoms so that I could function a little better.

NyQuil-
Cold and Flu symptoms often mean no sleep. You're constantly up coughing, sneezing, or freezing with a fever.  NyQuil has been a go-to in our house because when you're sick, you need rest to get better. NyQuil helps relieve nighttime sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching and fever for a restful night’s sleep when suffering from a cough, cold or flu.  The active ingredients in Vicks NyQuil Cold & Flu Relief are Acetaminophen for aches and fever, Dextromethorphan HBr for cough suppression, and Doxylamine Succinate for sneezing and a runny nose. It is intended for adults and children 12 years and older and is available in Liquid or LiquiCaps.

I love this product as well. I remember taking it as a kid and still do as an adult. Thanks for sharing. :)

I like Nyquil because it eases you into sleep and you wake up feeling much better than how you felt before. Rest is truly what is needed and the more I sleep when I'm sick, the faster my recovery.
