Joovy Tricycoo Tricycle

Our family goes on more walks than ever since moving last year.  The scenery wasn't that great in our last neighborhood, but now the whole walk includes views of the lake and the kids constantly ask to go ride bikes/scooters/wagons.  As Kallie Jane gets older, we wanted a tricycle that we could push her on.  The one we had for Isabella didn't impress me, so I knew I didn't want to use that one again.  Joovy sent us their Tricycoo Tricycle to try out(in pink).
The Joovy Tricycoo is a tricycle for children as young as 18 months! The Tricycoo is the perfect way to introduce your child to balance and coordination, one step at a time.   Your child will love the adventure of piloting their very first vehicle and parents love that they are in control while their child masters each stage of learning!
The Tricycoo arrives in these pieces and is fairly easy and quick to assemble.  My husband was done in less than 15 minutes(and that was with 2 little "helpers").

They did a fantastic job when designing this Tricycle!  There are many great features that make this kid and parent friendly.  The front wheel can be locked or unlocked.  As the child grows and can pedal on their own, the wheel can be locked into place so that they have to pedal to move the trike.  The wheels are also very quiet!  The wheels of our wagon are so loud, that you have to keep stopping if one of the kids is trying to tell you something.  The quiet wheels allow me to hear cars and my kids.

The Parent handle is amazing.  On our last tricycle like this, the parent couldn't steer - just push.  This handle puts the parent in control of steering.  It has 4-positions and is adjustable from 32.5 to 38 inches high, so you can push at a height comfortable for you.  The rear basket is huge and has so many uses.  It holds enough sippy cups and bottles of water for our whole family!
Best of all, the Tricycle will last!  It supports up to 44 pounds and the baby surround arms are removable in addition to the parent steering handle.  The footrest can also be pushed back up when the child starts to pedal themselves.  My husband has his hand in front of where the footrest has been folded up.  Isabella is 3 and hasn't even passed 30 pounds, so she can ride it.

Even though this tricycle is intended for toddlers over 18 months, Kallie Jane does great on it.  She doesn't try to get up and loves to ride on it.  We keep a close eye on her at all times.

Oh how sweet! By the time we're full into summer, she'll be even more secure and steady on it.

That tricycle would be perfect for my little girl! She is just reaching the stage where she needs a good tricycle; and the weather is finally warming up!

This tricycle looks awesome! I wish that the one we had -had the handle on the back. It took my guy quite a while before he got pedaling down.

I love that Kallie Jane can ride it as well as she does! She's grown so big! This bicycle is really neat that it has all the attachments so that your child feels comfortable at each age and level of learning to ride a bike. It definitely makes you feel less worried about the little one getting hurt while trying to learn! I know that when I was growing up, I had to learn the hard way through scraped knees. Luckily innovative bicycles like these can prevent injuries and still allow your child freedom.

This would be so perfect for my grandson this summer when his siblings go bike riding. He would be able to go too for the first time. I love all the color choices they have too. I like the black one. dwelchert at yahoo dot com
