We have pollen really bad here in the Spring.  I feel as if I'm always sneezing and allergy medicine doesn't always do the trick.  Honeywell sent us the Honeywell True HEPA Tower Allergen Remover Air Purifier to help keep our allergies in check.

Even though it isn't "pollen season", I still have allergies.  I wake up with red, itchy eyes pretty much year round.  I keep the Tower in the main living area, which is definitely over 177 square feet since we have an open floor plan.  At night I bring it in our room and can definitely tell a difference when I wake up in the morning.  I almost need two for our main living area to cover more square footage.

The filters are impressive. Our air is pushed through the filters and clean air comes blowing out the other side.  It also comes with a black filter that helps catch odors.  It will be great at helping to keep our house cool in the spring and summer, but its a little cool right now.  I keep it turned down low, so not as much air blows out.
