Keurig K-Cup® Pack Countertop Storage Drawer + Giveaway

As most of you know, we bought a new house and have been spending the last several months remodeling it.  I took a lot of time thinking about how I wanted the new kitchen so that I could utilize counter space and would have as much storage as possible.  Even with all of my planning, it is hard to decide where to put all of our K-cup Packs for the Keurig.  We were keeping most of them in the pantry, but it is better to have them right there with the Keurig.  We now have this K-Cup® Pack Countertop Storage Drawer that fits in with the modern decor of our new kitchen.
Features-
  • Holds 24 K-Cup® packs
  • Two independent drawers for multiple organizational possibilities
  • Drawers are reversible for placement on either side of the brewer
  • Dimensions: 4.0" wide x 12.8" tall x 13.9" deep
We also had the Carousel, but this actually hides them with a sleek and modern look.  I have a little space between my ovens and refrigerator that I designated as the "coffee area", and the new Countertop Storage Drawer doesn't take up too much room.  I love the fact that you can reverse the drawers so that it can be functional on either side of the brewer.  I had plenty of room for either side, but I put it closest to the refrigerator.  Excuse the fact that we haven't put up our backsplash yet and don't have pulls on our counters and drawers!

I was so excited to see that they had stocked our new Countertop Storage Drawer full of some of my favorites!

In addition to having one of the Countertop Storage Drawers for one of my readers, I also have a coupon code.  Use the promo code, CELEBRATE8122, at Greenmountatincoffee.com for 15% off sitewide at through December 31st!

The best tip I have to stay organized and clutter free is to use a labeler and label storage spaces. It makes it much easier to look at a stack of drawers, a toolbox, or a shelf and know where items are or where they belong.

I have to de-clutter when my "we need to keep it 'cause we might need it someday" husband is away. I also go through the mail as soon as it is brought ino the house, immediately throwing out junk mail. Sometimes I let the little ones play post office with the junk mail and they love it!

The only tip I have, which I have a hard time following, especially for the kitchen... is to always put things away, don't set them on the counter to deal with later because later never comes and things just build up! So I always take care of whatever I bring into the kitchen right away, but on those crazy days when I have my hands full and all 4 kids need me at once... by the end of the day the counters are trashed. Never fails.

I have a problem with clutter, always afraid to throw something away because I may need it. My best advice is to don't let things pile up, go through mail as soon as you get it, don't lay it around to sort through later.

A few years ago I set up baskets for each family member. When I find things left out where they don't belong, I put them in that person's basket. After a few weeks, if the basket hasn't been emptied, I take whatever's in it and put it away. They get them back after a year. It certainly motivates them to put their things away!
