Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 8.5-qt. Dutch Oven + Giveaway

When we first got married, I only used my smaller pots. As our family has grown, so have my pots and pans. Not only do I cook for my growing family on a regular basis, but my parents and/or siblings are often thrown in the mix. My favorite type of pot is a Dutch Oven since it can go from stove to oven. I can't express enough how much I love this Dutch Oven!  Not only is it fully functional, but it also matches my modern decor perfectly.  I have used it several times, but in these pictures I was making a chicken casserole(I will share the recipe soon).  First, I boiled the pasta in the pot.

After the pasta was ready, I threw in the rest of the ingredients and put it all in the oven - no extra dishes were needed!

This size is perfect.  It isn't too big or awkward to put away or fit it my fridge, but it is big enough to cook any recipe that I've tried.  There are often 9-12 people that I'm cooking for and this pot helps me fit all of the ingredients in one pot and allows me to take my recipes from the stove, to oven, and in the fridge for leftovers.  I already have so much to do without dirtying up more pots, pans, and dishes.
