Book By Book + $25 Barnes & Noble Gift Card Giveaway

We are avid readers at our house. We have books in every room and we make sure to take the time to read with our children. I feel like this is important bonding time with them and helps them gain a love for reading. Research has shown that an access to books helps children succeed academically. Unfortunately, some 60% of low income families have no books.

Capital One and The Heart of America Foundation are working to change that with their new campaign, Book by Book. Today is the last day of this campaign so please go like their facebook page and vote for your favorite books.  They are giving 1 book away for every like on their facebook page. Their goal is to reach 50,000 likes and they are 8,000 behind.  Today is the last day.
