Kallie Jane At 4 1/2 Months

Believe it or not, Kallie Jane will be 5 months old in just two days! As with everything else lately, we were a little late getting to the pediatrician so I waited until after I had her 4 month stats to write this post. At almost 5 months old, my tiny peanut is 11 pounds 15 ounces and 24 3/4 inches long. I just started taking out her 3-6 month clothes since her 0-3 month outfits are starting to get too short.  I also went ahead and started getting size 2 diapers this week. This picture was taken yesterday.

Her little personality is starting to shine. She is very good and usually just takes in whatever is going on around her. She loves us all, but just lights up every time she sees Evan.

She's been batting at her toys for some time now, but this month she has starting reaching for and playing with them. She also reaches one hand towards you and touches your face if you come near her.

She had that newborn "ah wah" cry up until earlier this month and now she has her own little cry - or scream if she's really mad. She found her thumb at around two months and unfortunately has turned into a thumb sucker. She's partial to her left thumb. She never cries if she's in the water - thankfully she's a water bug like the rest of us.

She had her first taste of "real" food on July 4th. She's only had bananas crushed up so far. I think I'm going to cook her some apples tonight.

She is a fantastic baby and I couldn't be more in love with my little circus. I'm not going to lie, having three small ones keeps me very busy, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.  They all adore each other and are constantly melting my heart.
