Wordful Wednesday - Baptism
That is me holding Kallie Jane and my sister beside us shortly after Kallie Jane's Baptism. My grandmother made the dress and hat that Kallie is wearing for my sister when she was a baby.

Oh my goodness what a beautiful gown she had! We also have a special baptism gown to pass down. It was made by an amazing seamstress...a special aunt. She also made a slip to go underneath and any family member who gets baptized in it gets their name stitched into the slip, along with the date. It's my most prized treasure as I am sure yours it too. Proud moment for you Dee...your face is just beaming with pride! The only thing a bit higher than sister love is mother love. We can see both in that photo:)
