Before I had kids, I really didn't think a diaper pail was necessary. I was wrong. Baby diapers stink horribly and will make any room smell the same if not enclosed in a proper diaper pail. The plastic diaper pail I was using kept the stink out, but it required special bags that weren't exactly cheap. As we all know, newborns go through many diapers each day, so we were paying way too much for refill diaper pail bags. Ubbi recently introduced me to their powder coated steel diaper pail that does not require special bags - they only require regular 13 gallon trash bags! They also sent me a cloth pail liner for when we switch to cloth diapers after the newborn stage.

Most diaper pails are made of plastic which absorbs odors and leaves a lingering smell that can be difficult to eliminate even when the pail is scrubbed. The Ubbi diaper pail is made of powder-coated steel, which makes it easy to clean and odor-resistant. In addition to the steel, the rubber seals keep the odor locked in and the specially designed sliding lid has an innovative opening that minimizes air disruption to prevent the smell from escaping.

It uses regular 13 gallon trash bags(which they sent me a pack of) and it takes seconds to drop the bag into the arm.

When the bag is in, you close the lid and it is ready to use. Turn the child lock off and push the handle back to throw a diaper in.
