37week 2day Appointment + Induction Is Set
It seems like this pregnancy is taking the same track as my other two. I keep having fairly regular contractions with some being pretty intense. Last week I was 3cm and 60% effaced. Today I was 4cm and 80%, so we started talking about when to have baby. I told him that I really want him to be the one to deliver, so he went to check which days he was in the hospital. My choices were 2/29(40w1d) or 2/22(39w1d). I definitely don't want a leap day baby, so baby day is set for 2/22(as long as she stays put until then).

4 cm! Dang, even when I was overdue with my son I was still 0 cm dilated at my check-up with my doctor. Hahaha! Wish I dilated like you! I felt like, "Shouldn't my body know that it's time to get things started?!" ;) It was really scary for me being sent to be induced at 0 cm dilated (for very low amniotic fluid). I would have felt so much better being induced at 4 cm dilated! Sounds like you're ready to go!

And, I'm still convinced you'll actually go into labor this time and you'll deliver before me!
The doctor gave me the option of 2/13 (which is 3 days after my due date) or a non-stress test. I opted for the test as I don't want to do an induction with no progress.
Guaranteed induction by 2/20 if nothing happens!
I'm with you, I would've opted for a non-leap day baby, too.

Congrats! So excited for you! When I was in grade school I had an art teacher who was born on 2/29. I always thought that would be interesting. But it would be a pain as a parent to buy bday gifts! haha.

Wow - I wish I was making that much progress. My induction is set for next Thursday if baby boy doesn't come before then (and I am praying he does)! I've been contacting pretty regularly too, but I'm only 70% effaced and 1 cm dilated. I'm trying to be patient, but its hard when you've got a big boy in your belly!
