Zoku Quick Pop Maker - Ice Pops In Just 7 Minutes!

We're always looking for new, healthy snack ideas. Most of the "quick" snack options are full of ingredients that aren't especially good for us. I was recently introduced to the Zoku Quick Pop Maker and couldn't be more pleased with it.
The patented Zoku Quick Pop™ Maker freezes ice pops in as little as seven minutes right on your countertop without electricity. Quickly make striped pops, yogurt pops or (for the first time ever at home) flavored core pops. To enjoy Quick Pops at a moment’s notice, simply store the compact base in your freezer. The kit includes six durable, reusable plastic pop sticks that have unique ridged designs that allow pops to adhere securely, with special drip guards for tidy eating. A specially designed Super Tool helps to quickly release the frozen treats from their molds. The unit can make up to 9 pops before refreezing the unit again.
They offer three different sizes, and since I'm about to have baby #3, I asked for the original that makes 3 pops at once. It includes 1 Quick Pop Maker, 6 sticks, 6 drip guards, and 1 Super Tool.

You can use almost anything to make pops out of. Stick the Quick Pop Maker in the freezer for 24 hours before using, being sure that it freeze on a flat surface. Place the stick in and fill with your desired ingredients.  The trick is to make sure you don't fill the slots too full. If this happens, I take a fork and scrape the excess off so that it will come out.

After about 7 minutes, the pops are done. If they aren't too full, they pop right out with no problems. You screw the super tool onto the stick and it pops right up. You can make up to 9 pops in one use before having to return it to the freezer. After you've made the first three pops, the second and third sets take more like 15 minutes or so to freeze.

It takes a little practice to make the best pops. We almost always make pops with some sort of fruit mixed into yogurt. I wasn't using enough milk at first to thin it out, so I was having a hard time getting it into the wells. My first pop came out looking something like this.

My kids really enjoy using the Zoku Quick Pop Maker for an easy snack. We are always freezing various juices, yogurts, and fresh fruit!

This was not a paid post and honest opinions were used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. Thank you to the company and/or PR agency who supplied the product for review.

I have been eyeing this for quite some time. I still use the old school way of making popsicles, but this would be so much better.

Those really look like fun. I've seen this in the store, but was afraid to spend the $$ because I didn't know if it was worth it or not. I may have to go back to the store and see if its still there ......
