We spent Wednesday at home so Evan could keep recuperating. Isabella woke up on Thursday saying her tummy hurt. My husband called a few hours later to say he was coming home early because of his stomach. They both had the stomach virus that afternoon.
I was about to load the dishwasher that night, so I put the door down. I heard Isabella getting sick, so I turned to run towards her and I tripped over the door that I had just put down and being 34 weeks pregnant, I pulled muscles in my pelvic area, sides, and upper legs trying to catch myself so I wouldn't hurt my stomach. I also had many new bruises.
We spent Friday at home letting Isabella and my husband continue to rest and get better. By Saturday, I was going stir crazy, so my mom and I went shopping while Isabella took a nap and Evan played outside with hubby. I had just walked in the first store when I got a call - "Come home now, we have to go to the emergency room!!". Evan had been playing on his scooter and fell. His top teeth went completely through his upper lip. I think from now on I'm making him wear a football helmet instead of just a bike helmet. ;)
They numbed his lip and were getting him ready for stitches. The doctor came in and decided it was high/straight enough that we were going to try just gluing it instead of stitches. Here he is shortly after being glued up.
Sunday we decided to get out of the house and went to the zoo. My mom, brother, and his fiance went with us and later we ate dinner at my parents' house.
Yesterday, I woke up with my tummy hurting. Thankfully my husband didn't have to work because sure enough, I had their stomach virus. Being huge pregnant and leaning over the potty is not my idea of a good time. Finally at 4ish, I quit throwing up all of the liquids I tried to take in and spent the rest of the night trying to make sure I got re-hydrated. I'm still not 100% today, so I will be resting and forcing myself to eat a little something and drink.
Fingers are crossed that this next week goes smoothly!

Oh goodness! What a series of events! I hope you feel better quickly. And I'm glad Evan is okay. Poor guy :(
Oh my goodness, you poor thing. When it rains it pours. You all need a nice long break from it all! ((HUGS))
oh my!! Poor you lady! Hope you start to feel better... that quesy feeling is almost as bad!
Oh no! All of that is horrible! I'm so glad Evan is ok, how scary that must have been. Mouths bleed a LOT. I can only imagine how freaked your husband must have been.
I hope you feel better soon. You know what, there might be some good in this. You all would have had the stomach virus before the new baby comes! You wouldn't want to pass that to a newborn.
Yikes!! Well hopefully you all are better soon. Ouch on your sons lip. Hope you all get to feeling on the mend soon.
So hectic! Next week is sure to be better...it has to!
What a week...hope next week is better for you all
that sounds like a week that should be followed up by lots of good stuff. I hope you and everyone recovers, plus, big falls are so scary! Yikes!
YIKES! Hope you and everyone are feeling better!
Goodness! You had a rough week! Evan's lip looks terrible...I think my boys need to wear football helmets sometimes too:) I hope you are feeling better soon!
Wow, well that's a good "excuse" what a week. I feel terrible for you. Take care of yourself, lady!
I hear girl. Things have been crazy before Christmas with the move and all. Hope you all get better soon!
Oh my goodness..I know exactly what you guys went through. I was there just before Christmas with that nasty stomach bug. Glad that you all on the mend :)
Oh my, what a terrible few days -- I do hope you are all doing better and that Evan is recovering from his fall -- how scary! Hugs to you all!
Holy Moly! Maybe you just got your new year's worth of trouble out of the way in just a few days. Rest!
What a rough time you & your family have been having! Poor Evan - amazing how they use glue instead of stitches now. I've done that - tripping over my dryer's pull down door (instead of dishwasher) but not at 34 wks. pregnant. Glad you are OK. I hope all of you feel better very soon!
So sorry to hear about all the craziness going on at your place! Poor baby with the stitches and poor mama! On top of it all you getting sick. I sure hope things keep getting better!
Wow, what a week! You poor thing. Glad you guys are on the mend!
oh my this just makes me sad all over for you guys what a few days. Rest lots and family get well.
You poor bunny! At least you stacked all of your disasters and traumas on top of each other--hopefully the rest of your pregnancy will be nice and boring. Hope all goes well with your cute family. Erin
Oh my! That is a lot! Keep hydrated. I'm sure you are. I hated the stomach flu being that pregnant!
Despite all that your last picture looks so great!
WOW! that's was a h*llish week... but it's over and you survived. So sorry to hear you have had such a hard time. :(
It definitely has to get better from here! It's the worst when everyone in the house gets sick because then there is no one left to take care of everyone else :(
Hope that you guys get Better Soon! ;)
Wow...what a week! I feel so bad for all of you! Really happy you were able to protect the precious cargo in your belly, though. Nice save, mama!
Hope you're all feeling better by the time you read this!
Hope you feel better Dee! I know what you're going thru, & it's a nightmare! Especially while you're pregnant & trying to juggle everything at once! I'll be praying that the coming weeks are blissful for you sweetie!
I can't imagine having a stomach bug and being huge pregnant like I am now - YUCK! Glad everyone is on the mend. Praying this week is peaceful for you!
Awww so sorry to hear about your rough week. It seems it's always the momma that gets sick last, after being worn out taking care of everyone else.
Hope you are all feeling better :)
Oh my goodness that is a week I would want to forget. I hope you all are feeling better now and on to better things. :-)

Oh my, sounds like you had quite the week. The stomach virus is never good, it seems as if it gets 1 member of the family eventually it passes through each one of you. Hope you guys are doing okay now. That's a nasty little spill your sweetheart must of had. Hope he's doing well!
What a week! Oh my gosh! That is awful! I sure hope you all have a very uneventful week ahead of you!!!
