QuickSmart Easy Fold 3-in-1 Playard

Since I have two very active little kids, I'm going to need several products that make toting baby #3 around much easier. She is due in just 10 weeks, so I have a summer full of activities that my other children are not going to want to miss. When I was introduced to QuickSmart products, I couldn't decide which of their products would be most helpful-I want them all. I finally decided on the QuickSmart Easy Fold 3-in-1 Playard.
Possibly the world’s lightest fully functioning Play Yard, the QuickSmart 3-in-1 transforms from a play yard to bassinet and changing table in seconds. The advanced engineering guarantees parents no worries about dropped side rails, and no set up/take down wrestling matches! And when you’re ready for the next stage of your adventure, the strong but lightweight aluminum frame folds up and packs away flat into its own carry bag. At 16 pounds (21 pounds with bassinet installed), the 3-in-1 Play Yard is your gateway to on-the-go living.
The playard arrived ready to go in its travel case. It has long straps and short straps so you can carry it however you'd like. Even at 29 weeks pregnant, it was very easy for me to tote around.

It took a minute or less for me to have the playard up. It is smaller than many other playards that we've used which will be perfect when we're on the go. It is 26.8in H x 44.9in W x 29.1in D when put together and the main part weighs just 16 pounds. I put Isabella in it so that you could see how big it was. It is made for babies up to 30 pounds and she's not there yet. I won't use this for her because she'd climb right out, but its perfect for those babies that are a little chunkier and reach 30 pounds sooner.

The part that took me the longest was making sure this part was snapped into place. I had to push up really hard until I heard it snap. At first, I wasn't sure if it was going to do snap, but the edges were sagging, so I knew they had to go up and catch. Once I had all 4 snapped in, the playard was very sturdy.

The bassinet and changer took a little longer to put on because so many pieces had to be attached to the side. It probably took me 4-5 minutes to have them all in place and to place the mat in by myself. Now that I know what I'm doing, it may take even less time. It uses the same mattress as the bottom, you just have to fold two sides under. The whole process is really easy. This picture was taken before I figured that I didn't have those 4 parts really sturdy, so the bottom part was a little saggy. I put Isabella's baby on the changer part so you could get an idea of size. She also had to stand beside it and protect her "baby".

Here is a quick video that shows how easy it is. You can check out QuickSmart's Youtube Channel to see how to put all of their products together.

I am so excited to have the QuickSmart Easy Fold 3-in-1 Playard. I can see us using this all the time this summer when we're in the backyard, on the lake, at the pool, and at friends' houses. My only issue is that it looks like its already pulling in some places. I hope that it doesn't tear.

Be sure to follow QuickSmart on Twitter and/or Facebook to stay up to date on their product line and for promotions/giveaways.

These are so nice. We use our travel crib all the time for our little ones. It is nice that they fold up so small and then when you need a familiar place for them to have some down time it easily pops up into their own play area. Couldn't live without it!!!

I like that when this is being used as a bassinet baby only have 1/2 the space, its not only higher up.

This is a really cool product. We never bought a travel crib/play yard for our first baby, and it's definitely something I want to get for our second baby. We've borrowed one to use at our parents' houses and they can be really hard to assemble/dissemble. So easy assembly is an important feature for sure!

I think this would be a great product when traveling. It can be used as a playpen AND a bed, which is a great idea!

Thank you for this review. I have seen their products around and I really wondered about this one. We are always going to outdoor functions and I hate carting our huge play yard all over the place. Plus it takes up half our trunk. Yeah our car is that small.

Its nice to see them getting back to the basics, some of these playards are so confusing and this one looks like its very simple

Isabella is such a big helper in your review! The QuickSmart Easy Fold 3-in-1 Playard is bigger than I imagined and I love that it's lightweight. Your photo of Isabella standing in it gave me a better idea of size. It looks perfect to use for my little granddaughter when she is staying here and I can store it in the handy bag.

I love that it looks so lightweight and I love the bag it folds into! My Pack & Play folds easily but is very heavy to lug around and is extremely hard to put into the bag. This looks like a much more travel friendly concept.

Love the look of this play yard! Seems very sturdy and would really come in handy when traveling.

OH WOW... looks sturdy but not as huge as others. My daughters would love to have this for visits to relatives who do not have "accomodations" for babies. Two new tiny angels in our family just in the past 2 1/2 months so this would be a great purchase now or keep in mind for future baby shower ideas for group gifts in our family.
thanks!

I like the ease and small size but I am a little concerned about the pulling. I'm interested in seeing how it holds up long term!

Double Duty Mommy said...

i've never heard of this brand or company but this looks so great. I am concerned with the pulling that is already happening though.

This would be really nice for babies and toddlers. It also seems like it would fold alot easier than the one I have.

thanks for the honest opionion...I had a fisher price play yard, it was a pain to use. this one looks pretty easy. Just to have some where to put a your child to play that is safe is great.

That looks great! I had a play yard that I bought used, we had so much trouble trying to set it up I was ready to toss it! This sounds a lot easier :)

I like that it comes with a tote bag. Everything is better in a tote bag. Looks neat and tidy.

Thanks for your review! We didn't own a play yard with our first baby - we were caretakers for an elderly lady and weren't ever away from home long enough to need one! But since then we've moved and just had our second little girl a few weeks ago. I've been seriously considering saving for a play yard ever since we visited my in-laws and they let us use the one they have. I really like that this one is so light and easy to take up and down with a carry tote. It seems very functional.

I love the portability of it. We are looking to go skiing next month and have had a hard time finding a condo with a crib so we are considering bringing ours but it would be extra to check it. this is suitcase sized.

Play yards are amazing. I have three in my house and with a newborn, its nice to have a play yard in all the rooms you are in most through out the day.

I love how this play yard transforms into a bassinet and changing table. I wish I had found this before my daughter was born!

That is neat, look easier to close then most, I had bought a cosleeper for my first son and it took me for ever to learn how to close it,but I think one of my sides were bent alittle,so maybe that why, looking to getting othere one for our new little boy, that would be nice, looks very portable and when you have 4 children you need easy baby stuff..kainebear1@yahoo.com

Being a mom of 2 under 2 who travel very frequently (and planning on having more kids soon), I know what it is like to need multiple play yards. As it is right now, we have two, but only 1 is easily portable. I hate fumbling with the drop sides because it takes a lot of pressure and time to get them to collapse. I will definitely be looking into this play yard!
