Possibly the world’s lightest fully functioning Play Yard, the QuickSmart 3-in-1 transforms from a play yard to bassinet and changing table in seconds. The advanced engineering guarantees parents no worries about dropped side rails, and no set up/take down wrestling matches! And when you’re ready for the next stage of your adventure, the strong but lightweight aluminum frame folds up and packs away flat into its own carry bag. At 16 pounds (21 pounds with bassinet installed), the 3-in-1 Play Yard is your gateway to on-the-go living. The playard arrived ready to go in its travel case. It has long straps and short straps so you can carry it however you'd like. Even at 29 weeks pregnant, it was very easy for me to tote around.
It took a minute or less for me to have the playard up. It is smaller than many other playards that we've used which will be perfect when we're on the go. It is 26.8in H x 44.9in W x 29.1in D when put together and the main part weighs just 16 pounds. I put Isabella in it so that you could see how big it was. It is made for babies up to 30 pounds and she's not there yet. I won't use this for her because she'd climb right out, but its perfect for those babies that are a little chunkier and reach 30 pounds sooner.
The part that took me the longest was making sure this part was snapped into place. I had to push up really hard until I heard it snap. At first, I wasn't sure if it was going to do snap, but the edges were sagging, so I knew they had to go up and catch. Once I had all 4 snapped in, the playard was very sturdy.
The bassinet and changer took a little longer to put on because so many pieces had to be attached to the side. It probably took me 4-5 minutes to have them all in place and to place the mat in by myself. Now that I know what I'm doing, it may take even less time. It uses the same mattress as the bottom, you just have to fold two sides under. The whole process is really easy. This picture was taken before I figured that I didn't have those 4 parts really sturdy, so the bottom part was a little saggy. I put Isabella's baby on the changer part so you could get an idea of size. She also had to stand beside it and protect her "baby".
Here is a quick video that shows how easy it is. You can check out QuickSmart's Youtube Channel to see how to put all of their products together.
I am so excited to have the QuickSmart Easy Fold 3-in-1 Playard. I can see us using this all the time this summer when we're in the backyard, on the lake, at the pool, and at friends' houses. My only issue is that it looks like its already pulling in some places. I hope that it doesn't tear.
