HALO SleepSack Swaddle & SleepSack Wearable Blanket Review + Giveaway

If you have a pregnant mom or new baby on your list this year, I strongly suggest looking into the HALO SleepSack. We had this SleepSack Swaddle for Isabella and it was my absolute favorite newborn/infant product. I had several similar products, but I used this one the most. Babies seem to kick their blankets off, but this keeps them secure and warm-allowing them to sleep better. Isabella adored being swaddled and this was a SleepSack and Swaddle all-in-one. I thought this one would do the same thing, but it is sewed on instead of being attached with Velcro, so I can't take it off and use it as just a SleepSack as baby gets a little bigger. This one is a Newborn Size, so I will most likely swaddle until she is that size, but I'd like to have the option to take it off like I did with Isabella.  HALO told me that they now attach them to ensure that parents place it correctly on baby's body. According to the International Hip Dysplasia Institute, incorrect or tight swaddling on the lower half of a baby's body can actually result in hip dysplasia after birth.

This baby will be born in the winter months, so the Plush Dots Velboa material is going to be perfect. It is really soft and thick enough to keep her warm.
