Baby Alive My Baby Alive Doll

I had a Baby Alive Doll when I was growing up. I'm not sure where it is right now, but I wish I could find it to show you. I remember thinking how awesome it was at the time, but dolls sure have come a long way and are even better. Hasbro recently sent Isabella the Baby Alive My Baby Alive Doll.
For real mommy moments, MY BABY ALIVE gives girls the experience of taking care of their very own baby. She says more than 30 phrases, including “I love you Mommy!” When she says, “I’m hungry,” your little girl will know it’s time to mix up a bowl of her special doll food and spoon-feed her. After she drinks a bottle of water to wash it all down, it’s time for a new diaper! She’ll even let your little girl know when she’s sleepy, and close her eyes when she goes down for a nap. Just sit her upright and she’ll open her eyes to play all over again!
Doll comes with dress, bib, bowl, spoon, bottle, 2 diapers, 2 doll food packets and instructions.
After spending forever trying to rescue her from the box, I finally got her free and we could play with her.

I think Baby Alive will be extremely handy when baby #3 arrives in February. Isabella can change Baby Alive's diapers while I change the real baby.

Isabella adores "feeding" the baby. Baby Alive comes with her own food that you can mix with water and then she "digests it" and has a dirty diaper to change, but at 2 years old, I haven't showed Isabella this feature yet. I figure it would be a big mess at this point, but would be so much fun for her in about a year or two.  Baby Alive is a doll that Isabella won't outgrow for many years.

Not only is she fun to change and feed, but she also says more than 30 cute phrases. Isabella knew right away to press her wrist to get her to say more.

We need to look into purchasing a baby doll high chair because Isabella keeps wanting to put her in the box to feed her. The box had arms and a tray just like a high chair.

Isabella has had an absolute blast playing with Baby Alive and she acts just like a real mommy feeding the baby and changing the diaper. I can see her playing with this doll for many years.

This was not a paid post and honest opinions were used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. Thank you to the company and/or PR agency who supplied the product for review.

THanks for the review. I have a granddaughter that is still kind of young for a doll, but I"m thinking for her second birthday I might get her one and make a little quilt and cot for it.

She's going to be an awesome big sister!

BTW did you "hint" at a name in the nursery post?

I could see my granddaughter playing with this wonderful doll without getting bored with all its features.

These are so cute. I found that they have the cutest ones in ethnic colors and got one for my grandbaby for Christmas that she is going to love. I think more than anything, I mostly love that it has real hair for an ethnic doll, not the plastic "helmet" hair we found on most of them

Baby Alive sounds terrific for my granddaughter who likes to mimic everything her Mommy does so it would be great when her little sister is being fed or changed and she can do the same with her own "Baby Alive". I love that it also speaks 30 phrases.

Dee,
I always love your terrific photos on your product reviews. The one of the back of the box had me laughing. Sometimes items are packed so well it's almost like trying to get into Fort Knox! :-)

This doll has always scared me! My daughter had one & I couldn't believe the cost a doll will bring you! She was happy that she got a sibling because it was more real & stinky she said! lol

Not really into dolls, but I hear you about the packaging. I've never seen one with tape like that...

At least it wasn't in a blister pack you need a chainsaw to get open!
