Kellogg's & Scholastic Breakfast and Books Prize Pack Giveaway

Reading has always been important at our house. We start reading to our children as babies and keep books in every room to encourage them to read more. Hopefully they think that reading is fun and will continue to do so as they grow. Kellogg's & Scholastic sent us a Breakfast and Books Prize Pack along with a $15 Walmart Gift Card.

This fall as parents fill their shopping carts with new backpacks, school supplies, and snacks for back-to-school at Wal-Mart, they’ll also have the opportunity to get a free book from Scholastic Book Clubs! Select specially-marked Kellogg’s products, including Raisin Bran®, Mini-Wheats® Little Bites Original, Nutri-Grain®, Eggo®, Pop-Tarts®, Cheez-it®, and Rice Krispies Treats®, which are available now exclusively at Wal-Mart. Parents who buy two of these products can redeem the codes found inside for a free $5 coupon for a free book from Scholastic Book Clubs or the Scholastic Store Online.

Evan recently started doing "mini munchers" and staying for lunch at preschool a few days each week.  As a mom who now packs lunch, those individual packages of Cheez-Its have come in handy!  Since I am pregnant, I have to make sure I get some sort of breakfast as I'm running out the door and the Nutri-Grain bars have been perfect.  We have been reading the Pirates Go To School and Let It Fall books to the kids at bedtime and the Let It Fall book has encouraged us to talk more about the Fall Season.  I look forward purchasing Kellogg's products and redeeming the codes inside towards books to add to our collection.
