Voice Rockrz Mic Review + Giveaway

As most kids do, Evan and Isabella both adore music. They both enjoy singing along to their favorite songs and dancing around the house. They constantly shout out for us to play different songs for them in the car - Black Eyed Peas is their favorite at this moment. I immediately said yes when given the opportunity to review the Voice Rockrz Mic from First Act.

Voice Rockrz is an innovative microphone that magically interacts with included accessories to transform your voice. Tap the accessories to the mic to unlock different voice effects: you’ll hit those soaring high notes with ease, hear your voice echo across the stadium, and transform into a rocking robot as the crowd cheers in amazement!

The microphone itself is completely awesome, but there are also accessories! Tap the ring to the Mic to activate the Hi-Note voice effect, tap the bracelet to the Mic for the Echo-Tastic voice effect, or tap the ring and bracelet in succession to uncover the Robot-Riffic voice effect. Evan cracked me up because when he was first in the Hi-Note voice effect, he looked around and asked if Isabella was talking.

Another awesome feature allows children to plug the Mic into an MP3 player or iPod so that they can sing along to their favorite songs. The Voice Rockrz Mic is for children ages 4+ and I completely agree with that age recommendation. While Isabella adores singing into the mic, she quickly loses the accessories which are key to making it change pitches.

Here is a quick video of Evan playing with it.  He sings Happy Birthday regular then touches the ring and bracelet.  After that I start the song on the iPod.
