Wordless Wednesday - Bowling
As I mentioned on my 365 post, we took the kids bowling for the first time this weekend. Evan can't stop talking about how much fun he had!

Our family has been enjoying bowling for a couple of years now. It is such a great activity for the whole family. It promotes a little healthy competition among us. It has been fun to see the improvement. My kids have gotten bigger, stronger, and have become much better over the two years. We go about 8-10 times a year.
Haven't done that since I was around 6 yrs old. Looks like y'all had a great time.
We have a bowling alley near the school that only uses mini balls so it's a VERY popular birthday party location. We end up there all the time. The kids love it. We use that thing too when we go somewhere with big balls.
Bumpers are a MUST when bowling w/ little ones. When I was a kid, the bumpers were inflatable pads they rolled out. :) (It's not THAT long ago.) Did you sign up for Kids Bowl Free? It's our 2nd year!

Looks like everyone had a great time and did awesome. I have never seen those ramp things for the balls before. We sure could have used them last time we went.
Fun! I like bowling, but hardly ever went, because it was so smokey there. Well all of St. Louis is smoke free now and we can breathe again! We are looking forward to bowling!

It's been about 4 years since I've been bowling...I should go and take my oldest, I bet she'd have a blast. Looks like your family did too!
We use to bowl a lot, but I always stunk at it, ha. This makes me want to go & take the kids!

My boys hated it when we took them because they loved that they were awesome at it on the Wii and hated that they sucked in real life. It was kind of funny, lol

I haven't been bowling in years because of my disability, but I used to go bowling with my grandmother and then she went blind from Macular Degeneration and she could STILL whip the pants off me. HaHa

My kids love to bowl! I haven't ever seen the thing you showed that helped the kids bowl... Looks like a great idea! Half the time, my 3 year old has his ball stuck in the middle, just hanging out because he doesnt throw it hard enough! LOL!
