Play Outdoors With The Step2 Extreme Coaster Review + Giveaway

I live in the South and we have two seasons - warm and hot. We are fortunate to be able to go outdoors and play almost everyday. Thanks to Step2, Our backyard is full of exciting toys to keep my kids entertained! They recently sent us the Extreme Coaster.

Evan has played on the Up & Down Roller Coaster in the past and I knew that he would love this larger version.  I didn't tell him that this was coming, so he was so excited when it arrived.  It came in three large boxes.

Here are all of the pieces ready to be assembled.

It took my husband about 30 minutes to put everything together. Using a drill made the whole process go a little quicker.

Obviously, they suggest that you wear helmets while riding the roller coaster, but I feel like it is a really safe toy. The car has a bucket seat, and they fit down in it really well. It is also really low to the ground(when not on the track). I put the helmets on them for the first few times of use, but quickly saw that it was safe.

The middle of the Coaster has steps so the kids can push the car up the middle and hop in.

The top has a cut out on each side so the wheels will stay put and the car won't slide back down the Coaster while the kids are trying to get in.

One of the neighborhood kids was over the first day we put it together and they played on it for hours.  They did a great job of taking turns and after she went home we had kids at our gate all afternoon wanting to come play on the roller coaster! (We cut the grass a few days later - wow that looks bad!)

The age recommendation is for children 3 and over, but Isabella is 19 months and has an absolute blast on the Extreme Coaster! We help hold the car in place while she gets in and then give her a little push to get going.  I was a little hesitant at first, but my baby girl is a thrill seeker! :)  She gets so excited when it is her turn

I'm going to make a bold statement and say that this is definitely the funnest outdoor toy we've ever owned.  My kids have had the opportunity to test out some awesome outdoor toys, but this one keeps them entertained for hours at a time!  They are awesome at taking turns and get still get excited even when someone else is on the car.

There are several kids in our neighborhood that are around the same age as Evan and they are constantly knocking on our door to play.  Poor Evan has a strict mommy who doesn't want him roaming around the neighborhood, so my yard is where all of the kids usually end up.  Its a never ending party over here and we drag out all of the outdoor toys to keep them all entertained.  All of the kids love to play on this roller coaster.  Not only is this an awesome "everyday toy", but it would be perfect at birthday parties!
