Phew...I'm Back - Our Christmas

I took a 1 1/2 week "break" from blogging to enjoy my husband's time off of work. We were so busy and I still haven't gone through all of the pictures, but here are a few.  Two of my aunts came in town and we crammed lots of fun into just a few days.

We went to the zoo to see the lights and this was Isabella's reaction to Santa. Needless to say, I never got a good picture with the two of them and Santa this year.

Even though Isabella didn't  have a positive reaction, Santa still came to visit.

I was thrilled because Isabella really got into opening her presents.  At that age, Evan wanted nothing to do with presents and refused to open them.  This year was so much fun because both kids got into it.

After opening Santa presents, we went to my parent's house for breakfast and to open presents with my mom, dad, siblings, and my aunts.

Then, something awesome happened - IT SNOWED!!!  We *might* get a dusting every other year or so and then enough to play in every 4-6 years.  I'm so excited because it snowed more this year than it has in the past 4-5 years combined!  If you missed it, we had a "blizzard" in February and then we got 2-3 inches(which is a lot for us) right at Christmas.

After Isabella realized that white stuff falling from the sky was getting on her gloves, she was done.  LOL, my baby girl is too "prissy" for snow - good thing we live in the south! The snow was all gone the next day and this weekend we were back to the 70s.

I hope you're all having a great New Year so far. To be honest, I'm not ready to start blogging again. It was a much needed break. I will still be putting up several reviews/giveaways, but my babies are starting to get older and we will be running around more. I want to do more cooking, so between that and having my kids grow up too fast, most of my posts will be more "personal" so that I am sure to record everything that they do(and the new recipes that I try out). I am also doing the 365 project this year so that I'm sure to take more pictures.

Since I wasn't around last week, I missed any posts that you may have put up about your own Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate.  If you wrote a post, please link up below so I can go read your post and see your pictures!

That is so hilarious that she's so fussy. Snow on her gloves, LOL!!!

Wasn't taking time off from blogging the best?!!! I absolutely loved it!

That sounds like a great Christmas! My daughter's birthday is the day after, and we got 14 inches of snow--in a city where ONE inch closes schools and businesses and creates chaos. She loved it, though. She turned 2, and she went right out into it, falling down and everything and loved it! The snow stuck around for almost a week, but the following weekend we were into the low 60s. Crazy!

ALL the pictures are wonderful. I'm with Isabela, I'm too prissy for the snow and that is why we live in Florida! :-)
Glad that you had such a wonderful Christmas; wishing you a very happy new year filled with love, laughter and good health.
