With fire hose tower and large gate for the fire emergency vehicles. Dimension: 58 x 34 x 47 cm (LxWxH)
Here are the pieces that it came with. I was not prepared at all for how long this took to put together. It took at least 1 1/2-2 hours for me to fully assemble. There were tons of tiny pieces and they were separated into bags that made no sense at all. There were probably 10 bags full of small parts and for one step, there would be 1-2 pieces out of 4-5 different bags. I really think they should package the pieces together in a way that makes sense.
See all of those tiny yellow and red pieces? Those are what hold all of the larger pieces together. There is a tiny screwdriver thing that you have to pop each of those pieces in with.
Even though it felt like it took me forever to put together, the details are amazing. There is even a little phone for them to hold. Each of the computer screens had stickers for me to attach and I was constantly surprised with the next tiny detail that Playmobil thought to include.
There are many toys that I think the age recommendation can be stretched a little, but this is one that I truly believe is best for kids over 4. Evan is 3 and he thinks this fire station is so "awesome", but there are tons of small pieces that he often knocks off when trying to get to something else. I also have to make sure he plays with it on a tall table so that Isabella can't get anywhere near it.
Even though I thought I would never finish putting it together, I would do it all over again for this product. It has so many accessories such as helmets, axes, oxygen tanks(with hose and mask), gloves, tables, chairs, and even cards for them to play with during their "down time" at the station.
He uses his other firetrucks and toys while playing with the Fire Station to really bring it to life. With so much to do, I can see him playing with this toy for many years to come. Hopefully as he gets older he won't knock off pieces as much as he does now when he plays with it.
