Get Dinner On The Table With Michael Angelo's Gourmet Foods

I'm all about products that help me get dinner on the table with minimal effort. We all have those nights where we don't feel like cooking, or we just don't have the time. Michael Angelo's Gourmet Foods recently introduced me to their products.

They only use the finest, high quality ingredients: 100% premium meats – fresh, never frozen; authentic Italian cheeses made using Old World methods, 100% durum wheat semolina pasta, fresh herbs and spices; fresh vegetables and specially selected, vine-ripened tomatoes. They make their meals from scratch every day, hand assembling each dinner and inspecting it for quality, just before shipping them out to your local supermarket. This made-to-order process ensures you the freshest food and an outstanding homemade taste only an Italian mother could duplicate.

I couldn't wait try their lasagna.  They have several different kinds, but my favorite is the one with meat sauce.

I make my Lasagna with meat sauce as well and it can be fairly expensive to make if the ingredients are not on sale.  One of these was a little smaller than the size of my lasagnas, but it fed our family of 4 and we had a little left over.  To cook, you place on a cookie sheet and pull one of the corners up.  You then bake for 45 minutes.

After that, you take the top off and let it bake for another few minutes to brown the cheese.

I have tried several frozen lasagnas in the past and this is by far my favorite.  It is the only brand that I will eat again.  When you're used to your own cooking, you want something similar and this tastes very similar to mine and I don't have to spend all of that time preparing it in my kitchen.

We also tried the baked ziti with meatballs and it was good, just not as good as the lasagna in my opinion.  I put Ricotta cheese in mine and this didn't have it.  It was still good considering the only time I had to be in the kitchen was long enough to pop it in the oven.

I am very happy with the Michael Angelo's Dinners and look forward to trying out other kinds.  They come in different sizes so that I only have to buy the smaller size when my husband will be working late.

Visit Michael Angelo's to view all of the varieties and to learn more.

This was not a paid post and honest opinions were used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. Thank you to the company and/or PR agency who supplied the product for the review.
