SkinCareRx - Personal Microderm System Review

I have pretty normal skin. Its a little dry, and I sometimes break out - but I don't really have any ongoing conditions.

SkinCareRx sent me their personal microdermabrasion machine to try out.

About The Personal Micorderm System:

Achieve amazing anti-aging results at home with Personal Microderm System. It works just like a professional microdermabrasion treatment without the hassle or cost. The hand-held device uses the same aluminum oxide crystals as the ten thousand dollar machines found at your doctor's office. It smooths away dead skin cells, diminishing age spots and other signs of aging.

The system includes 1 personal microderm, 5 exfoliating discs (2 green and 3 blue), 1 electric cord (Standard U.S. Outlet), 1 facial cap, 1 body cap, 1 reusable filter, Instructional CD and Pamphlet.

For best results when using the Personal Microderm, use a cell renewal or gentle skin resurfacing cream in conjunction with the microdermabrasion tool, such as Boske Molecular Repair or M2 Skin Refinish. This powerful system for skin treatment combines some of the finest serums and creams for cell renewal and skin resurfacing on the market with the enhanced results achieved through microdermal exfoliation. One without the other will not give you the significant results that both combined do. Use either the M2 or the Boske products with this tool and see for yourself how powerful this combination is.

My Thoughts:
I was extremely excited to use this system.  As I told you above, my skin is a little dry at times.  It makes it where my makeup doesn't go on very smooth and I get frustrated.  At 25, I don't have any age spots, but I wanted it to make my skin smooth.

As always, I only give 100% honest reviews and tried this system about 5-6 times over a 5-6 week period(it recommends you use it only 1x per week).  My skin was extremely smooth after the first day of using the product and I was thrilled.  My makeup went on smoother and you couldn't see any dry spots on my face.  However, on day 3 or 4, my skin would be even drier than it was before I started using the Microderm System-it was even peeling in a few places. I also used both the blue and green pads(one is for more sensitive skin) just to make sure that wasn't the issue.

I followed all directions and listened to their tips.  I could see the Personal Microderm System was exfoliating my dead skin because as the instructional DVD states, I would have small white pieces of skin on my face while using them.  After using it I would rinse my face off and it felt incredibly smooth.  My only problem is that my face ends up incredibly dry just 2-3 days later.  I know that everyone has different skin types and many people will have different experiences with the System, but mine was not positive.

I always email a company before posting any sort of negative review and SkinCareRx told me to go ahead with my review.  They asked me to include that results do vary and the product has a 99% positive feedback rating of the thousands that have sold since its debut earlier this year.  However, if you should purchase one and have any problem with it, they have SIXTY day complete refund - no questions asked policy. Also, trained master estheticians are available for free consultations about the use and effects of the product from 7am to 7pm, Monday through Friday, and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays and I did not contact them.

Visit SkinCareRx to learn more about the product and to view their other items.

Buy It!
You can purchase the personal microdermabrasion machine for $177.20.

This was not a paid post and honest opinions were used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. Thank you to the company and/or pr agency who supplied the product for the review.

Honest reviews are the best. Everyone does have different skin types. My skin loves these types of things and it makes it more beautiful. I love having all dead skin gone. Great review though!

maybe weekly is too much for your skin, maybe it was taking off too much of your natural oils. I'd like to try something like this, beats trips to the spa. Thanks for the honest feedback Dee it's always much appreciated!

Nothing is bound to work for everyone, but when they have a money back guarantee, it's worth trying, right?

I've always wondered what these machines were like. I have very sensitive skin that gets irritated easily, so I don't know what it would be like for me; like you said, everyone has different skin types, so it's hard to say.

I've always wanted to try microdermobrasion, but was afraid to. This looks like a neat way to do it.
