Halloween Costumes - Costume SuperCenter Review

Last year was the first year that I was really excited about Halloween. Evan was finally at the age to go from door to door saying, "trick or treat" and it was adorable. To get in on the fun, I decided I wanted to dress up with the kids too.

Costume SuperCenter has cheap Halloween costumes for the whole family. They know that costumes aren't just for Halloween anymore and want to provide consumers with costumes year round. There are always themed parties and other holidays that make dressing up fun. They have the perfect costume for pretty much everyone - including the dog.

The site was full of skimpy costumes, but I wanted to go with something a little more modest. I asked for the Goth Maiden Witch Costume.

Do you want to wear something unusual and elegant, a costume that you won't see on everyone else? Then opt for this Adult Goth Maiden Witch Costume. Let's face it, sometimes it's good to be bad. This costume features an elegant gown length black and green dress, with cross lacing on the low cut bodice. The black has a brocade look while the green sections are satin-like. The sheer sleeves are slashed meeting at the cuffs. There is also a matching witch's hat with tulle and feathers to complete the outfit. Add some cool accessories like a pair of Patent Witch's Shoes in Black, a Black Feather Broom Costume Accessory, a Black Widow necklace and perhaps even a long blond adult wig to finish everything off properly. (all sold separately elsewhere on this site) You'll look amazing at your Halloween or adult costume bash - or even for a little spell casting in the privacy of your own home.

It was really hard for me to choose a costume because there were so many different options.  I figured that a witch is something I can wear for many years and this one is pretty cute.  It also helped that I really liked the hat.  It was so hot on Halloween last year, so I tried to find one that didn't look like it would make me too hot.  The sleeves were open in this, so I figured it would be perfect.

I ordered the medium/large because I would rather it be too big than small.  It was really big, but you can cinch up the waste to make it a better fit.  The dress was long enough so that I can wear heels if I want to(but who are we kidding-I'll be chasing my children around in flats), and would be warm if it happens to be cool out.  I'm sure you'll be seeing plenty of pictures of me in the costume when I post about Halloween, but Evan was the only one home when I tried it on.
