Tinker Bell And The Great Fairy Rescue Flying to Blu-ray And DVD September 20th

I've never seen a Disney DVD that I didn't like. Like most of you, Disney has been enchanting me with their amazing movies for as long as I can remember. I am more than happy to be able to share Disney's newest creations with my children.

Tinker Bell And The Great Fairy Rescue debuts on Blu-ray combo pack and DVD tomorrow, September 21st, 2010.

Before she was ever introduced to Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a girl with a
steadfast belief in fairies. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue begins in summertime in the beautiful English countryside. An enchanting encounter unfolds when Tinker Bell is discovered by Lizzy, and as their different worlds unite, Tink develops a special bond with the curious girl in need of a friend.

As her fellow fairies launch a daring rescue, Tinker Bell takes a huge risk, putting her own safety and the future of the fairies in jeopardy. This action-packed adventure takes the fairies of Pixie Hollow on a daring flight to London to save Tinker Bell and all of fairy kind. Produced by DisneyToon Studios, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue is a captivating and exciting adventure for all the family.

The Blu-ray cover is beautifully illustrated and even though Evan is usually more into things like trucks and trains, he couldn't wait to watch Tinker Bell. We sat down to watch it as soon as it arrived. Isabella is just over a year old, but usually has no interest in television. She did stand near the T.V. and watch parts of the movie with us. The animation is absolutely captivating.

The real test of a DVD is if Evan asks to watch it again. I'm happy to report that he watched the DVD in its entirety the first time we saw it. He has since asked to watch it several times. I'll admit that I've actually enjoyed watching it a few times as well. I missed a few spots the first time I saw it because of chasing after Isabella, but I have now see the whole DVD and I love it as much as the kids do. Evan really likes the whole movie, but his favorite part is at the end when the father and daughter are flying.

I look forward to other Tinker Bell movies that Disney may create in the future. I also saw the Tangled previews on the DVD and I can't wait to see it.
