Have A Staycation At Carrabba's Italian Grill - Summer Specials

I'm a sucker for Italian food. I would eat pasta 3 times a day if given the chance. I was lucky when I married a man with some Italian family on one side. Its always nice when you marry someone who has the same taste in food.

Carrabba's Italian Grill allows us to experience Italian meals and lifestyle without any of the baggage fees. With Signature Pastas starting at only $10, anyone can escape their Summer routine for a mini-vacation to Italy.

Carrabba's Italian Grill sent us a $45 gift card to enjoy a meal. My husband's birthday was Saturday, so we decided to have a date night this past weekend. I'm pretty sure it was the first time since before we had kids that we enjoyed dinner alone.

I can't believe that I've only eaten at Carrabba's twice! I definitely plan on going there more often. We started with an appetizer - Mozzarella Marinara. Best Marinara Sauce - EVER. I am incredibly picky when it comes to marinara sauce, and this is my new favorite. I seriously want the recipe! Eating dinner there also means amazing bread and olive oil/herb dip.

I almost never drink, but I got a Cosmopolitan and hubby got red wine. These are the salads that came with our meal. We both got creamy Parmesan cheese dressing. It was really good.

I got the Tag Pic Pac. It was only $10 and then I added chicken for $3. I was so incredibly full that I only ate a few bites. I took the rest home and had it for lunch the next day and it was just as good as left overs.

My husband got Penne With Fennel Sausage Pomodoro. It was only $10 as well. He somehow managed to eat almost all of his, but not before I took a bite. I am not a huge fan of sausage, but this was delicious.

I am so glad that we got the opportunity to enjoy this meal. It made us realize that we need to get out for date nights more often. There were also several families there that night and we look forward to taking our kids with us to Carrabba's next time!

Be sure to visit the Carrabba's Website and find a location near you! You can type in the store location of your choice and it will bring up the menu.

Oh man I loveeeeee Italian food and like you, I'm very picky about my marinara. For me, Olive Garden is the only one in our area that I really love. I wish we had a Carrabba's here because that looks so delicious. I guess I'll have to look for one next time we leave town.

Ok... I totally should have been born Italian! I love everything Italian. You'd think since I love Italian food and people so much, I would have at least married into an Italian family! LOL

You know we don't have any of these that I'm aware of over here on the west coast, however every time I see posts with their food it looks SO yummy!
