Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles Forever DVD

I have a cousin that was born 3 weeks before me and we were always incredibly close. I distinctly remember sitting and watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with him. It was a show we both agreed on and I am so glad I have the opportunity to introduce the show to my son.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles Forever DVD was released on August 24th in celebration of their 25th anniversary.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meet…the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? The turtles from one dimension meet the turtles from another dimension when a teleporting mishap occurs in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles Forever. Together, all the turtles must locate the Technodrome to fix this mess. Meanwhile, Shredder tracks down his counterpart, Ch’rell, who devises a master plan to travel back to the Prime Universe to get rid of the turtles once and for all! As worlds collide, the turtles come face to face with the classic characters like Splinter, Casey and April, and a slew of archenemies including Krang, Hun, the Foot Soldiers, the Purple Dragons, Bebop and Rocksteady.

I was more excited to watch this DVD than Evan was. It has been many years since I sat down to watch The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and as I suspected, I had forgotten so much. My husband even watched this DVD with us and we all enjoyed it. Evan has asked to see it several times since and I am so glad because it is one of those shows that I don't mind watching over and over again.

I LOVE the TMNT!!! When they first came out, I hated them and made fun of them, but then my brother convinced me to really watch the show, and I was hooked! We have a bunch of the old action figures, we got the free tape from Pizza Hut of the "live" TMNT singing (soooo bad, and yet so good), and I still can sing most of the rap from the first movie! How cool that they're coming back! I wonder if I can convince my 20 month old daughter to like them in a few years?
