Evan has recently become a huge fan of Sid The Science Kid, and he gets so excited when he sees products that remind him of his favorite shows.



Playskool has several toys that my kids love. Playskool is just one of the amazing brands by Hasbro. Hasbro was created in 1923 and is now a name that all children know. Some of their brands include Nerf, Tonka, G.I. Joe, I-Dog, Lite-Brite, and many more.

Playskool sent us the Talkin’ Sid the Science Kid.

Sid the Science Kid is an animated television series on PBS Kids, starring Sid, a funny and inquisitive 5-year old. Join Sid and his friends as they celebrate their excitement and curiosity about the world through discovery, activity and fun!

Learning about the world is even more fun when you’ve got a friend with you! This cute and cuddly Sid the Science kid figure even has a special surprise — press his tummy and he “talks” to you! Snuggle up in front of his “The Sticker Chart” DVD episode and then head off to make your own miraculous scientific discoveries.

I wish you could have seen Evan's face when he first saw this adorable Sid the Science kid figure. He got so excited when he learned that Sid "talked" to him. Sid comes with the “The Sticker Chart” DVD episode and Evan has watched it over and over again. The Sid figure, was good enough, but the DVD was a pleasant added bonus. Here he is holding Sid and watching the DVD.


The recommended age is 36 months - 6 years, but even Isabella loves Sid. She learned to press on Sid to make him talk and between my two kids, Sid is always talking. It takes 2 AA batteries to make him run(they're included) and I'm surprised we haven't had to change them yet. To make Sid talk. they simply press on his chest.
