LeapFrog Cook & Play Potsy Review + Giveaway

We have been introduced to many new LeapFrog toys in the past and I am always impressed. They all hold my kids' attention and help them learn new skills.



Leapfrog is a company that has the tools that I need to help teach my children while they have fun. They have some of the most innovative, technology-based educational products. They also have several resources available on their website to aid with the learning process including a special Parents Community and Learning Path.

Potsy is ideal for ages 12-36 months and this is another toy that my children enjoy playing with together. It comes with the pot with lid, a spoon, and several pieces of food.


Potsy includes two types of play. If you switch the knob to the 123 icon, it talks about colors and sings cute songs. When turned to the pot icon, Potsy will talk about food and will make noises as if it were really cooking.


Like all good toys, it also has a volume switch. If one of the kids is napping, I can turn the volume down so it doesn't wake them. If they're both playing, we crank the volume up so you can hear it over their squeals.


They have spent even more time than I thought they would with Potsy. They take it in their pretend kitchen and Evan cooks for Isabella. They don't fight over it because it comes with so many pieces. The songs that keep playing tell them what colors the different foods are so Isabella will learn them. I have never met a child that didn't have fun when pretending to cook which makes this toy great for all kids.
