Guidecraft Pastel Dress-Up Carousel Review And Giveaway

My kids are growing up before my eyes. Evan has enjoyed playing dress up with firefighter outfits for a while now. Isabella will want to start playing dress-up before I know it.

This pastel revolving carousel features a hanging area with wooden pegs, storage cubby's, two mirrors, storage bins for make-up, jewelry, scarves, hats, shoes, and more.

I'll be honest, I was too busy running around getting things ready for the party when my husband put it together. I do know that it took him about 20-30 minutes and he had to take it apart once because he put something on wrong. The end result was beautiful. We used it for the first time during the party to hold the dress-up outfits.


I will keep the Dress-up Carousel in either Isabella's room or the playroom, but it will hold boy and girl dress up clothes. Right now it is sitting in my dining room. It is 6" h x 22.5" w x 49.5" l and 44 pounds, so it is a little awkward for me to carry upstairs and I haven't been able to get hubby to take it up for me yet. I haven't put all of their dress-up clothes on it, but here it is with one of Evan's rain coats and a pair of his shoes at the bottom. It has pegs on the top and storage shelves at the bottom.


The Carousel spins very easily and is perfect for kids. Both sides have mirrors which is Evan's favorite part right now. Do your kids love making faces at themselves in mirrors as much as Evan does?


The other side has several large storage bins for anything you can think of and the bottom has even more storage shelves(perfect for play shoes).


I am so in love with the Dress-Up Carousel and wish that I would have had one when I was younger. Until Isabella gets dress up shoes, I can put her regular shoes on the shelves. I can fit 2 pairs of her shoes on each shelf at the bottom to free up even more space in her closet.

I have been hanging her tutus up in her closet and that takes up a lot of hanger space since they are puffy. I have decided to put all of her tutus in these storage bins for now. As she gets older, we'll be able to fill the bins with tiaras, makeup, jewelry, and everything else a little girl needs for playing dress up.
