Envibum Cloth Diaper Review And Giveaway

If you use cloth diapers, have you ever thought about how much money you've saved? We all know that cloth diapers are more environmentally friendly than disposable diapers, but using cloth is also much nicer on the wallet!



Envibum is a cloth diaper brand that I recently learned about. They are a team of work at home moms (WAHMs), dads (WAHDs), grandparents, and a bunch of cute kids who always volunteer to be testers. Envibum Cloth Diaper:

Outside: Plush "Cuddly" Minkee
Inside: 100% unbleached cotton with absorbency channels including layers of fast drying 100% cotton fibers sewn in, and an internal protected PolyUrethane Laminate (PUL) waterproofing layer.
Rise: 13” - 19”, Waist: 9” - 25”, Leg: 6” - 17”

Additional absorbency pads are sold separately. Outside is 100% cotton flannel with fast drying 100% cotton fiber layers on the inside. Babies absorbency needs vary, an extra pad may be needed overnight.

Additional absorbency pad suggested phases:

0 - 6 months: 0 to 1 absorbency pad
6 - 18 months: 1 absorbency pad
12 - 30 months: 1 to 2 absorbency pads

Adorable, pink fluffiness? Yes, please! A friend told me she had heard about these diapers and I had to check them out. The green is a great gender neutral color if you plan on having multiple children, but I *needed* this pink fluff for Isabella. I was impressed right off the bat because you only have to wash it ONE time versus FIVE before the first use.

Remember what I was saying about cloth diapers being easy on the wallet? Envibum diapers are a one-size all-in-one diaper that fits most babies 8 - 40 pounds. This means you don't have to keep buying diapers when they outgrow the last size and if you have TWO kids in diapers, one-size is the way to go. The envibum diaper is bulkier than the "best fit diapers" where you buy a new set of diapers for each size, but I love the fluffiness AND it will last me until she is done with diapers. They sent one absorbency pad with the diaper, and at 11 months, I really feel like Isabella needs another one. I put another random insert in the diaper and she is able to wear it at night with no leaks!

The mom4mom diaper cover is a truly rinsable and reusable cover. One size cover fits most babies 8 - 40 pounds. Recommend to use with our T-shape liners!

No exposed elastic, stitching, or binding to hold urine or poo in any seams or fabric. Rinse & Reuse! Its that simple. I've never had a cover that I didn't feel like I needed to wash in between each use. I love that I can just rinse it off, put a new liner in, and we're ready to go.

The T-shape liners are incredibly easy to use. In the picture near the beginning of this post, you see how they look spread out or folded up like they would be on the baby. I used just a T-shape liner and the mom4mom cover and had no leaks. When I felt she need to be changed, I just wiped the cover clean and put another liner in it. I also have a diaper that leaks pretty easily, so I used it with this cover and it worked very well!

The cover and T-shape liner combo has a trimmer fit than the envibum diaper, but the envibum diaper is easier to put on a squirming baby. I don't know about your baby, but Isabella tries to escape when I'm changing her diaper. It can be hard to keep the T-shape liner in place and put the cover on if she's moving too much.

After learning about envibum and everything they stand for, I am a huge fan. They also have a wealth of information on their site about cloth diapers and how to care for the envibum diapers. Below is their video on how to care for them(incredibly low maintenance) and they even tell you how to make your own laundry detergent.


Just in case you don't want to watch the video, here is how to wash them. I never put my diapers in the dryer because I do everything to make sure they last as long as possible.
1. Secure laundry tabs to diaper (shake poo solids in toilet), rinse if desired, do not soak.

2. Set washer to highest water setting and heaviest wash cycle (for a full load of diapers).

3. Run a hot wash/cold rinse cycle with additive free detergent.

4. Dry in dryer on hot, or line dry out of direct sunlight.
