Aloha Friday

It's Aloha Friday over at An Island Life! Answer my question and make sure you post one on your blog! After that, go relax because today is Friday!!

My question for this week is:

Are you watching The World Cup?
My husband is from England so the world cup is on here, but I don't watch a lot of it(NOT my favorite sport). England plays today and hubby plans on getting off and being home shortly after the game starts.

YES! My husband is from Brasil and a huge fan! We even pay extra to have soccer channels year round. So I have learned to like the sport. Aloha Firday!

Not really. The place I had lunch on Wednesday had it on so I peeked at it now and then, but my DH LOVES soccer so he watches it quite a bit. I just do other things!

We aren't watching the World Cup. We are playing soccer in the living room with a red rubber ball.

Not at all. I refuse to watch it. Kind of sick of my aunt (from England) shoving World Cup in our face and saying that Americans are not intelligent enough to get soccer. What I get is we live here and have the right to pick the sport that we follow - if any at all.

Nope, not really. We're not big into soccer at our house.

No, we're not watching the World Cup. In fact...don't know a thing about it, other than it's huge for much of the world! We're more baseball (Minnesota Twins) and rodeo fans here.

My husband is from England as well and can't get enough. We have the flag hanging from our house. He got to see the game at a pub on his lunch break today. I am sure he is not please, although US is not doing well either. I can't stand the stupid buzz bee horns so I don't watch much but we get the games on the canadian channel up here.

My husband is a great soccer player (the team he plays on just won the soccer championship in San Francisco!) and we both love watching the World Cup. My father-in-law is from South Africa and he actually has tickets to a few of the matches and my mother-in-law is from Argentina, so we're big supporters of Argentina!

YES! My sons are HUGE soccer fans (or futball as I've been corrected many times!). Also my hubby is from South Africa so we're rooting for them even though they don't have much of a chance. And of course we're also rooting for the USA who have a decent chance even though the ref robbed us of a win against Slovenia.
GO USA!!
