Guidecraft Educational Kids Toys MAGNEATOS 144 Piece Review And Giveaway

Evan is starting to use his imagination more and more. He enjoys building things and moving his cars and animals around.

Guidecraft sent us the 144 piece set of Magneatos. Isabella was intrigued by the colors on the box.


Similar concept to popular sets made for older kids, Magneatos jumbo-sized pieces are designed for small hands and huge imaginations. Magneatos create a new arena of creative play for young children. Jumbo-Sized Magnetic Construction Set.

These are the pieces that are included. There are several rows of straight pieces and balls.


On the site, it says that they are designed for ages 2+, but the box says 3+. Isabella is only 9 months and had fun playing with the pieces while Evan built houses with them. The pieces are pretty large and well made so I don't worry about her chewing on them(she still doesn't have teeth).


The long pieces have magnets in the ends that stick to each other or to the balls.


This is one of the first things we made with them. The magnets were really strong and everything that we built was extremely sturdy.


Evan could let his imagination go wild with this set. There are several great colors and enough pieces so that he can build whatever his heart desires.


The only thing that I would do to make this set better is to include a storage container of some stort. I went out and bought one of these clear plastic containers to keep all of the pieces in. With 144 pieces, they can get spread around the house quickly so I had to keep them contained.


I can see Evan and Isabella playing with this set for many years. There are enough pieces so that they can both make their own creations at the same time. This is a toy that kids can play outside with on nice days, or play inside on cold or rainy days. It kept Evan occupied for well over and hour and Isabella sat and played with the pieces for at least 20 minutes. They both go to the box several times a day to pull out pieces to play with.
