We entered a new stage last week. I am no longer known as Dee, but I am now "Miss Evan's Mom". Evan has recently started to notice the other kids that live near us and has been wanting to ride his tricycle and play with his toys in the front yard instead of the backyard so that he can play with the other kids. Thursday night he started really wanting to play with his "friends", and now asks me to go outside to play with them all day long. (This is just a random picture from an event we went to Friday, I hate posts without pictures)

Every stage is fun, but listening to his little conversations with other kids totally cracks me up! I couldn't help but giggle when one of the little girls comes up to me and goes "Miss Evans Mom...". I guess I never thought about the day when he wouldn't be content just playing with me all day, but this is fun. I even became closer to one of my neighbors and we've been walking every night after the kids go to bed(hopefully my body will be beach ready in the next few weeks).
Check out these super cute

Too funny! The kids at church call me Henry's mom or Grant's mom alot too:)
Yes I am known as Logan's mom...B.T. W. Your Flowers are bueatiful.
I love your week/flowers!
My son Mica made me a treat he brought home from preschool. It was two giant pretzel sticks, that were dipped in chocolate. It was all wrapped up. Yummy and fun!
I love your flowers, they look like the ones I have ;)
I love they are so formal in calling you Miss Evans! Too cute!!
Welcome to the club; I haven't been 'Dawn' since 1999! I've been 'Jason's wife, Dawn', then 'Jawan's mom' then 'Jaden's mom'.
I love all the variations too.."Dawn can help you." "Who?" "You know, Jaden's mom..." "Oh, I know who that is!"
Sigh...
My almost 4 year old daughter loves to give us dandelions also, so cute
my little guy gives me dandelions also
Wow! I've never thought of that day coming. Love the flowers he picked for you. So sweet.
I love being called one of my children's mom. Enjoy the blessing.
Awwwww, how sweet!! My son is just shy of 2, so I have that moment to look forward to. They grow up way too fast, don't they???
Dandelions in your house means you're a real mom!
My little man is growing fast too. He loves spending time with me, but now asks to see his friends.
I have those same flowers sitting on my window sill, picked lovingly by my front-yard-lovin' kids and their friends.
awww, I can't wait until Tristan makes friends! I mean, he has friends but he doesn't play "with" them, you know? But he calls his friend Lilli's mom (Mandy) "Wiwwi's mommy" so darn cute. I can't wait to be Tristan &/or Isaac's mommy!
i can't begin to count how many bouquets of "flowers" on the deck or front step
It is fun seeing them grow and begin to interact!
My kids have picked countless dandelions for me! So funny how pretty they can be as flowers and how fun they are to blow when they turn, but what a PAIN they are once they've re-seeded. Pick away kids, pick away...
