Wordless Wednesday - Grass

We finally had a weekend with 80 degree weather. Normally we're about to get in the pool, but it has taken longer to get warm this year.

The grass is starting to turn green and this was the first time that Isabella sat on the ground without a blanket under her. She was mesmerized by the grass (and thought it tasted pretty good too).

Down for a closer look. Can you tell that baby girl is finally starting to chunk up a little? I think her belly was getting in her way while sitting up - crawling on the grass to explore was easier.

What sweet pictures! I am impressed she is so happy with the grass, my son wanted nothing to do with touching it the first few times!

You always have such wonderful photos! Mine are a little dark but I only have the Blackberry for camera so hopefully you will stop by and see the process of trying to get me plus 3 kids in one picture! LOL

Happy WW and your little girl is growing up so fast!! I bet she loved that nice weather!

Wow! I can't believe she is actually sitting ON the grass and allowing it to touch her. ;) My little guy - if you even tried to set him on the grass he would practically wrap his legs around his head to avoid that prickly stuff lol

Such great pictures! I remember taking pictures of Kaelyn when she first discovered leaves. And...80 degree weather! WOW! That sounds wonderful. We've been having temps in the 40's & 50's lately and feel like a heat wave has come through... :)

What adorable pictures! I'm so jealous of your 80 degree weather and your turning green grass. Can't wait till all that arrives here in Cleveland.

I'm late making my rounds. Sorry.

She is SOO sweet! Look at her sitting up. Awww. If we lived closer, I'd so be crashing your house for a play date with our littles. lol

So cute! My daughter was TERRIFIED of grass at that age, wet grass in particular. :)

Cute!

Both of my kids took quite a while to warm up to the idea of crawling on the grass. :)
