Here are a few of our redneck moments. I could be ashamed, but I've embraced the idea because I know we had a BLAST! :)
This is our redneck sled AKA an old car hood.

See that thing covered in white being pulled? That's my brother during one of his turns.

This is what he looked like when he got off.

We couldn't let the boys have all the fun, Evan and I had to ride too!

Oh that looks like so much fun. Thanks for popping in at my very snowless part of the world.
Love that next to last shot, reminds me of the little brother in A Christmas Story. Looks like a lot of fun. When I lived in Tenn., we would go sledding with old car hoods too. Thanks for that great memory.
I remember seeing people do that a lot when I was little...so we must be rednecks too! :)
Great pictures!
I had to laugh at the title because we had a total redneck 'sled' that we used to pull around the twins...http://jennsblondeambition.blogspot.com/2010/02/snowmageddon-continued.html
ha ha ha! I have to say I've never heard of using a car hood for a sled, too funny! Looks like loads of fun!
LOL! Great pics ~ my kids used to create all sorts of sleds - anything to slide down a hill when there was snow ~ which wasn't too often here in south east Virginny when they grew up!
OMG I am LMAO over here!!! A hood, really? As long as you had fun!
Looks like you guys are really enjoying the white stuff! :)
haha!!! How fun!!!!
That looks like so much fun. I know we have an old car hood out at my grandfather's house. The only thing we are missing is the snow. Stupid Texas.
Now that looks like it would be a total blast!
It makes the perfect sled! Great pictures :)
Yes, that is redneck!! We used to to that.. ahh.. the good old days.. now we have a plastic sled tied up with hail bail string
Love the pictures! Looks like fun!
Looks like so much fun! You can come over here and have some of my snow, if you'd like. I'm over it. :)
How fun! Your brother was COVERED! LOL
What fun! Your brother was so covered! Happy to see the little man wanted to join in on the fun! Our littlest (almost 2) made a stink until we let him go down the steep hill and jump the huge snow ramp, by himself! Gotta love it:) Happy WW!
Wow! That looks like tons of fun! :)
Looks like fun!!
Redneck or not, it looks like a blast!
That is too funny. :) Gotta admit Snow brings out the kid in all of us.
That is so funny! Just call me a redneck cuz we used to do that too! LOL
Hey, whatever works, right? LOL. Looks like fun!!!
OMGosh that looks like so much fun!
Happy WW! Love your new template!
What fun! We had that snow this weekend, too(our beach snowmen), but no sledding since there are no hills!
Your brother looks like a snow monster!!! So fun!! :)
You may be a Redneck, but at least it looks like a lot of fun! : )

Very cool! Sure looked like a whole lot of fun!
Everyone should be a little red neck if it means this much fun!
That is classic! I love it!!! Too much fun!
Hey .. whatever works! We couldn't find a sled either.. I had my own ideas as to what to use (lid from totes).. but Graham was afraid!
That is too funny!!!

♥ Happy Wednesday! ♥
We've used an old truck hood before! It works great! Embrace the red-neck ways! LOL!!!
That looks like it was so much fun! I am jealous - no snow at all in these parts!
BTW- Love your redesign, its so cute!
What fun!
That would have so happened at our house this past week, if we had a hood lying around. According to Foxworthy, Being Redneck is the glorious absence of sophistication...I can live with that! LOL
Very cool, looks like a blast!
