Great Wolf Lodge combines two of our favorite things-vacation and water-LOTS of water. We were given the opportunity to stay a few hours away at Great Wolf Lodge in Charlotte/Concord, North Carolina. All of their rustically elegant suites come standard with premium features such as granite counter tops and mini-refrigerators, and they all are non-smoking. They have several different suites available to fit your family perfectly.
My parents, younger brother, and sister joined my little family of four during our stay. My parents were able to help out with Isabella so that we could experience as much of Great Wolf Lodge as possible. The Lodge set us up in the Grizzly Bear Suite. As you can see in the floor plan below, it has two separate rooms and two bathrooms in addition to a living room with pull out couch.
Each adult's wrist band had the ability to open the room doors. You could also put a credit card on your account so that you could pay with your wrist band at places like the arcade.
I was standing in the living room when I took this picture. As you can see, there is a bar with a small sink, refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave. It was so convenient to be able to keep our own drinks and snacks cool in our room and be able to heat up bottles and food with ease. You can't see it in this picture, but there is an iron and ironing board on the other side of the door in the hallway. Isn't everything so beautiful?
This was the sink in the hallway outside of the extra bathroom. Both bathrooms included a hair dryer so you don't have to bring one. As you can see in the corner of this picture, there is also a safe where you can keep your valuables.
This is the extra bathroom with the large shower. The other bathroom had a large bathtub/shower combo.
This little guy was waiting to greet us on the king size bed in the master bedroom. Evan damaged his ear before we even got in the door good. Great Wolf Lodge also provided us with a great playard for Isabella to sleep in that night.
This was taken from the balcony in our room. Can you see the HUGE water slides that come outside of the building?(click on the picture to make it larger if you can't see them)
This is the living room. See the TV on the wall? There was also one in each of the two bedrooms. The table was perfect for eating snacks. There was a couch that pulled out to a double bed and two comfy chairs were beside the couch to provide even more seating.
As you can see from the pictures, the room was amazing. It was absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations. There was more than enough room for all of us. They have the rooms set up where you don't need to pack much more than your clothes and accessories.
Stay tuned for part 2-The Water Park(here is a sneak peak because I am so excited to share it with you).
This was not a paid post and honest opinions were used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. Thank you so much to Great Wolf Lodge for providing us with a complimentary night to stay and experience all that they have to offer.
