Travel In Style With The Kolcraft Jeep® Trek Easy-Travel Playard Review And Giveaway

As a mom of two small children, I am always looking for ways to save space. Toddler toys and large baby gear have taken over my house and I love when products have built in storage.

Kolcraft sent us the Jeep® Trek Easy-Travel Playard.


The Jeep Playard is meant for children who are less than 35 inches tall and weigh less than 30 pounds. The side contains a large storage area with shelf that zips to keep items inside. The Trek Easy-Travel Playard includes a bassinet, changing table, and toy bar with hanging soft toys. It can be folded up to a compact size and has wheel and a cover for easy travel.

My husband put it together and it didn't take too long, but there was definitely some muscle needed to get it set up. The size is a little smaller than a standard size playard, which is great for saving space, but not so great for larger babies. The pad is also smaller than normal playards so I don't have a sheet that fits it. I think that a sheet should be included with the playard since it is a different size. The pad is cushioned and very cozy for babies. When Isabella starts sitting up and pulling up, we'll take the top part off and put the pad at the bottom.


I love all the storage on the side. I already have to pack so much when we're going on a trip and this makes it where I have extra space in our bags.


Isabella loves looking at things hanging over head, so the toy bar is a plus. The only thing that would make it better is if the toys lit up or moved to keep her attention.


The changing table is a great feature so you don't have to lean over for all of those diaper changes that newborns require. It says to stop using the bassinet and changing table when baby is 3 months or weighs more than 15 lbs. Isabella is 5 months and is still less than 15 pounds, but she is way too long for it. She would have been too long for it at 3 months as well since she's always been a tall baby.


As you can see in the picture below, the Playard folds up to a compact size and has a cover for easy travel.


The Jeep® Trek Easy-Travel Playard is the best that I've ever used for travel needs. It takes up less space and has a great storage area for clothes and other accessories. It is also perfect for keeping at grandma's or a sitter's. It doesn't take up a lot of room and they can keep all of their baby necessities in the storage area. It also comes in handy at our house because Isabella can nap in it instead of having to go upstairs to her crib.

The only problems that I have with it is that I can't find sheets to fit the mattress properly and it only holds children that are less than 30 pounds. Isabella is a really skinny baby, but most babies weigh more and wouldn't be able to use it for as long as I would like.
