Evenflo Generations™ 65 Combination Booster Review And Giveaway

It seems like the age to keep children in car seats keeps going up. The problem is that many car seats have a low weight limit.




Evenflo provides several car seat options. Evenflo was created 85 years ago and is now one of the nation's leading manufacturers of high quality baby care and juvenile products. They carry many baby needs such as car seats, strollers, high chairs, play yards, activity products, and much more.

Evenflo sent the Generations™ 65 Combination Booster for Evan.


The Booster features an internal 5-Point Harness for use with children 20 - 65 lbs. It can be used without the harness using the car seat belt from 65-100 lbs. The incredibly soft headrest adjusts to 5 heights for continual growth with your child. The seat has been Side Impact Tested at energy levels approximately 2X the federal crash test standard.

There is an extra head rest cushion for added comfort that can be removed via the velcro strap at the top.


The black seat cushion can also be easily removed which is great for accidents while potty training. The pad is machine washable with mild detergent, cold water, and gentle cycle.


The pivoting arm rests make it easier to get in and out of the seat. They also make it simple to use with a lap belt.


In these pictures you can see the red TensionRight knob and the flip out removable cup holder. The TensionRight easy adjust harness tightening system makes it where parents can tighten the harness with one hand. The cup holder can be used on either side or can be taken off all together. It can be closed flat when not in use. A cup holder is a HUGE plus in my book. Evan likes to keep his sippy cup near him, but can't if there is no cup holder.


The PostionRight™ headrest adjusts to 5 heights to grow with the child and maximize safety and comfort. To adjust, simply push the gray lever at the top of the seat. The first photo below is of the gray handle that is used to adjust the head rest. The second photo is of the headrest in the lowest positions, and the third is of the headrest in the highest position.


As always, Evenflo makes me feel that my child is safe and comfortable while riding in my back seat.
