My name is Dee and I am 28 years old. I married the love of my life 8 years ago and we have three amazing children.
Evan was born in August of 2007, Isabella arrived in August of 2009, and Kallie Jane made her appearance in 2012. They each have their own big personalities. Evan has always been my wild child that simply never stops. Isabella is a complete "diva" and sometimes a bully. Kallie Jane goes with the flow and is always flashing toothless grins.
Before I got married, I was a nursing student. I was two classes away from being an RN when we got married. Around that time, I learned that I was no longer in love with nursing. I was working at an amazing jewelry store and was quickly falling in love with my job. Before I became "Mommy", I was a manager in retail and worked up until the day I had my son. After I saw his beautiful face, I knew I wouldn't be returning to the retail world. I became a Stay At Home Mom, but missed having a voice and "being somebody". I started this blog in my little corner of the internet to share my thoughts and ideas about different aspects of parenthood and other randomness.
With life pulling me in many different directions, I haven't had as much time as I once did for my blog. In January 2013, I asked a good friend of mine to write a few posts each month. She is amazing and has a more natural outlook on life and has given me so much advice. She's now sharing her wealth of knowledge with you!
My name is Pam, and I’m thrilled to be guest-blogging with Dee! Let me introduce myself … that's me on the left with all the little people clinging to me. :-) I’m an ER nurse turned SAHM, and I live in the mountains with my amazing husband of 10 years and our 4 (very soon to be 5) young children.
About a year ago, we moved to our beautiful homestead. Yep, I’m living my dream with a flock of Black Australorp chickens, 2 sweet Jersey cows (and 2 adorable calves, to boot), 3 livestock guardian dogs, 1 little barn cat, and 1 lazy housedog who does a great job cleaning up the plethora of crumbs my children drop at the dinner table.
I put a lot of time and effort into my blog and hope that you enjoy it. I was named one of the top 50 Neilson Power Moms in 2009 and here are a few other places that deem me worthy. If you need any help or would like to request a media kit, please contact Dee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
