Evan was born in August of 2007, Isabella arrived in August of 2009, and Kallie Jane made her appearance in 2012. They each have their own big personalities. Evan has always been my wild child that simply never stops. Isabella is a complete "diva" and sometimes a bully. Kallie Jane goes with the flow and is always flashing toothless grins.
Before I got married, I was a nursing student. I was two classes away from being an RN when we got married. Around that time, I learned that I was no longer in love with nursing-it started to be mostly paperwork and less patient care. I was working at an amazing jewelry store and was quickly falling in love with my job. Before I became "Mommy", I was a manager in retail and worked up until the day I had my son. After I saw his beautiful face, I knew I wouldn't be returning to the retail world. I became a Stay At Home Mom, but missed having a voice and "being somebody". I started this blog in my little corner of the internet to share my thoughts and ideas about different aspects of parenthood and lots of other randomness.
