Evan was born in August of 2007 and Isabella arrived in August of 2009. They are exactly 2 years apart and are complete opposites. Evan is extremely wild and never stops. Isabella is my curious, yet laid back child that is always along for the ride. It always warms my heart to see them playing and fighting together.
Before I got married, I was a nursing student. I was two classes away from being an RN when I got hitched. Around that time, I learned that I was no longer in love with nursing-it started to be mostly paperwork and less patient care. I was working at an amazing jewelry store and was quickly going to the top of the ladder there. Before I became "Mommy", I was a manager in retail and worked up until the day I had my son. After I saw his beautiful face, I knew I wouldn't be returning to the retail world. I became a Stay At Home Mom, but missed having a voice and "being somebody". I started this blog in my little corner of the internet to share my thoughts and ideas about different aspects of parenthood and lots of other randomness.
I put a lot of time and effort into my blog and hope that you enjoy it. I was named one of the top 50 Neilson Power Moms last year and here are a few other places that deem me worthy.
