The activity ball is meant for children 6 months and up. The bright colors and rattle beads are sure to grab the attention of younger babies. As they get older, they can open the ball up to reveal even more fun. Inside, they can drop the two smaller balls that are included and play with the spinner.

I love toys that will "grow" with my baby. Not only will Isabella be able to play with the Activity Ball for a long time, but it is also something that Evan can play with her. As she gets older, they can roll the ball back and forth and he can show her how to open it up and drop the balls inside.

Weekend Wrap-Up

I'm sorry that I've been MIA for the past 4 days. Things have been really busy around here. One of my aunts came in town on Wednesday and we've been spending most of our time at my parents' house.

We decided to skip on the turkey and we did our own BBQ for Thanksgiving. Last year we did prime rib. We also had all of our favorites(Mac and cheese, potato salad, 3 different cakes, oreo balls, and much more). I am so mad at myself for leaving my camera at home on Thanksgiving day. My aunt did take some pictures for me and I'll have to get those from her soon.

I did go shopping on Friday, but I didn't leave my house until 9 am. There is nothing I needed to leave my house for at 5am(or earlier). Hubby watched the kids so I could shop with my aunt and mom for a few hours. I had to run back to the house after lunch so that I could feed Isabella. I didn't want to take her out in the crowds and I can't go very long without pumping or feeding her. We ate left overs that night and played with the kids.

Saturday and Sunday we put up Christmas decorations and did a little more shopping here and there. Here are the few pictures that I do have from this weekend. I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Marshmallow Shooter Review And Giveaway

I really enjoy products that make me feel like a kid again. As soon as I got an email about this product, I knew I had to have it. Who says you can't play with food?

The marshmallow shooter holds 25 mini marshmallows that are ready to be fired. With soft, edible ammunition, no one gets hurt and everyone can have a yummy snack afterward. Every part that comes in contact with the marshmallows can either be hand washed or thrown in the dishwasher. The shooters are completely safe and are designed to only shoot marshmallows. They will not shoot rocks, sticks, or anything else that is not soft and can’t compress and then regain its shape.

We have had a blast with our Skull And Crossbone Shooter. Evan would rather have us shoot at him than shoot it himself. I was worried that the gun would get jammed, but we've played with it several times and the marshmallows come out easily.

I was surprised with how far they can actually go. My brother has taught Evan to shoot them up in the air towards him and he'll go under it and try to catch them in his mouth. What I like best is that it is OK to loose the ammo! There are several play guns that we have lost pieces to. If we loose(or eat) the ammunition for these guns, we just run to the store and buy a bag of mini marshmallows!

Dirt Devil Gator Series

I am always pulling out my vacuum to clean up the messes that Evan makes. I never even thought to buy a hend held vacuum that would make my life easier.

Dirt Devil now has a gator series that I believe every mom should own. Dirt Devil was originally created in 1905 which makes them the oldest vacuum cleaner company. In 1981 they went from Royal Vacuum Cleaners to Dirt Devil. The company has been growing ever since and is now a household name.

Dirt Devil sent us the Gator 10.8V Cordless Hand Vacuum.


The Gator 10.8V is really light and very easy to use. It has a flip up dirt cup that is easy to empty and doesn't involve getting your hands dirty. Simply push the two side buttons and the dirt comes out. There is a reusable filter that only involves rinsing every once in a while It plugs into the wall to charge and is ready to go whenever there is a new mess.


Cleaning the stairs couldn't get any easier. It takes half the time for me to vacuum the steps now that i use the Gator 1.8V. The suction is fantastic and picks up every piece of dirt. I don't wince when Evan leaves behind crumbs because all I have to do is pick up the Gator and suck them up. The built in crevice tool makes it easier to vacuum up the high chair and other small places that I have a hard time getting with my regular vacuum. It just slides out when you need to use it.

The Pretty Peacock Jewelry Review And Giveaway

I have a jewelry box full of jewelry, but I seem to wear the same pieces almost every day. I wear the pieces that mean something to me. Even when I get new, beautiful pieces, they usually don't get worn much because I would rather wear the ones with sentimental value.

The circle measures 1 1/4" and can hold about 100 characters. The back can also be engraved if you need more space. The whole piece is made of sterling silver and is adjustable to be up to 20" so that it always falls beautifully with any neckline. A pearl and Sterling Silver bali beads have been wire wrapped to each side to add an elegant touch. There is a 5mm stone of your choice bezel set inside of the circle.


I asked for the pendant to say "all i know is this is love" on the top and then all of our names on the bottom. If you want it as more of a mother's necklace, you can do like she did in the picture below. It says "a mother's love knows no end" and then the name of her children.


In the description on the website, it says this necklace is perfect for anyone who loves elegant simplicity. I completely agree. I can't describe it with any other words. It is elegant enough to be worn with dressier clothes, but simple so that it can be worn with jeans and a shirt. The words are incredibly small so that it doesn't scream our names off of it-it's my little secret. The only people that know what it says are the ones who come close enough to examine it. I wear it all of the time and have received numerous compliments on it. After I tell people what it it actually says, they all want one too.

The Giraffe is extremely easy to put together. I did it by myself and Evan was riding it within 5 minutes of opening the box. You simply snap the pieces into place until you hear a click. The only part that had to be screwed in was the head. I love that the seat has two heights and allows the child to bounce on it. The lowest setting would be great for an 18 month old and the seat can be adjusted to the next height as they grow.


Evan couldn't wait for me to put his Giraffe Bike together. He hoped on right away and started pushing the buttons. I showed him that if he pedaled the bide, the screen would show him new things. This bike is extremely interactive and educational.


I like that it really doesn't take up much room. It is thin and can easily be put in a corner or closet when not in use. The giraffe is absolutely adorable and is very enticing for children. The bike will also teach Evan to pedal so that he is ready to ride a real bike soon.
