30 Weeks

Where has the time gone? In about 10 weeks, we'll have another baby.

In some ways I'm excited for her to get here, but I'm also not ready to be done with pregnancy. My hubby wants this to be our last. He says that one boy and one girl is perfect. I agree, they will be perfect, but adding another one to the mix would just add to that perfection.

I love being pregnant. Sure, there are things such as swollen ankles that aren't much fun, but having the baby all to myself is so special to me. I love sitting here and feeling her every move. Maybe it's selfish, but right now she's all mine! I can protect her and still enjoy every movement.

I'm going to cherish these last 10 weeks. I'm sure by the end of my pregnancy I'll be extremely uncomfortable and ready to just have her here, but right now I'm still enjoying every second-even my new, wide hips!

Baggino Learner's Bib Review And Giveaway

Having a baby that is learning to feed themselves can be challenging. They make a huge mess and only a little food actually makes it to their mouths.

Photobucket

The only way that they learn is to do it themselves. That means we just sit back and use a good bib! Baggino has a Learner's Bib specifically for little self feeders.

Photobucket

The Learner's Bib is made of soft cotton terry and designed to fit all babies and toddlers that are self feeding. It has long sleeves and an extra-long front so that your baby is completely covered. With all of these features, it can also be used as an art smock!

Even though my son has been feeding himself for a while now, he still makes HUGE messes with things like yogurt and applesauce. Baggino sent me a Learner's Bib to test. Here he is after he at he his breakfast-yogurt.
Photobucket

I have bibs that do a great job, but none of them protect his arms. He always seems to get runny foods all over his arms! The Learner's Bib not only keeps his whole front clean, it saves me time by protecting his arms from food too!

It takes seconds to put on and it has a large velcro closure in the back. THIS has to be my favorite feature! Evan is always taking his bibs off by pulling on them. With the Leaner's Bib, he can pull all he wants but the velcro is too big and the bib doesn't budge! He tried to take it off the first time that he wore it, but hasn't tried since!
Photobucket

The bib did its job and kept the food off of him. My only wish is that the back was waterproof. One of the times he used the Learner's bib, he spilled a bunch of applesauce in one place and his shirt got a little damp there. Other than that, this bib meets all of our needs!

It has been in the washing machine several times and comes clean each time. It still looks great and we get comments from other moms when we're eating out about how they wish they had something with as much coverage as this bib.

Baggino carries other fantastic products to make mom's life easier. You'll have to check out their website to see everything that they have!

Aloha Friday

Photobucket

It's Aloha Friday over at An Island Life! Answer my question and make sure you post one on your blog! After that, go relax because today is Friday!!

My question for this week is:

How many piercings do you have/had you had?

My mom got my ears pierced when I was 6 months old. At 16, I got a second piercing in each ear. At 18, I was dumb and had my belly button pierced-just a few years later I took it out when we decided we were going to start trying to have our first! Now, I have 2 in each ear and I'm not so sure if my belly button is closed or not!

I'm Pround Of My [bump]

All moms have been through a stage where they just felt fat instead of pregnant. For the first 4-5 months of pregnancy, you want to walk around with a big sign that says,"I'm pregnant, not fat".

Photobucket

Renae felt that way when she first became pregnant. She wanted to scream to the world that she was not just letting herself go. Renae's [bump] designs caught on quickly because pregnant women everywhere can relate to her humorous approach.

They sent me my own [bump] shirt. For those of you that don't know, [bump] stands for baby under manufacturing process. Here I am with my shirt about a week ago(28 weeks pregnant).
Photobucket

I've been able to wear my shirt many times now and I always get smiles. Countless women have come up to me telling me that they wish they would have had a shirt like this when they were pregnant. This shirt is extremely comfortable and has held up amazingly well through many washings!

I normally wear a medium in maternity clothes and was a little worried when I was sent the L/XL. There are two sizes, S/M and L/XL. The L/XL fit me perfectly! They have this shirt available in black/white and then pink for girl and blue for boy!

They even have a post [bump] shirt that totally cracks me up! Don't worry, Daddy was not left out. I'm loving this sympathy [bump] shirt.
Photobucket

They have so much more to offer. You have to go check out the [bump] website!

Buy It
You can purchase this [bump] T-shirt for $42! BUMP is offering my readers 10% off! Just use the code TOAK10 at checkout!

Ingrid And Isabel

My belly seems to be growing larger every day. I am in constant search of maternity clothes that will help me look cute while pregnant. I only had about 3 outfits that made me feel confident when I was pregnant with my first.

Photobucket

Ingrid & Isabel sent me their Everyday Cami and BellaBand to try out!

The Everyday Cami is amazing! It is extremely form fitting and creates a smooth look. I've come to terms with the fact that my hips have grown, and the Cami helps make them look smaller.

Photobucket

Being pregnant during the summer is hard-especially since I live in the south. The Everyday Cami is thin and light so you don't even realize it is on. I've had it for about a month and have worn it every few days. I wear it under most of my maternity shirts to create a smooth look and then I wear it around the house with shorts!

I have a problem with many of my maternity clothes wanting to hike up a little in the front since my tummy is growing so large. The Ingrid & Isabel Cami doesn't do that. It is extra long to make sure that I always feel covered. It is really thin and you can see through it a little, so I only wear it under things or around the house. Even though I've washed and dried this Cami more times than I can count, it still looks new and has the same elasticity.

Ingrid & Isabel also sent their amazing BellaBand. You'll want this from the second your pre-pregnancy pants start feeling snug until those jeans fit you again postpartum. I have worn the BellaBand mostly to make a layered look with my maternity clothes. Like I said earlier, some of my shirts are beginning to look too short and the BellaBand makes me feel more comfortable.

Photobucket

I can also wear it with my jeans that aren't secret fit to keep the elastic up. My belly has grown so large that it pushes my pants down and a quick fix is the BellaBand. It is snug so it keeps a smooth look underneath even my tightest shirts.

After I have the baby, the BellaBand will help keep my pre-pregnancy pants up since they'll probably be unbuttoned for a while! I think it will also help when I'm breastfeeding. When I lift my shirt, I don't have to expose my whole midsection when we have company over. I will have this on underneath it so no bare skin shows.

Ingrid & Isabel has many other clothing solutions to help you feel more comfortable and confident with a growing belly!

Pledge Multi Surface Cleaner Review And Giveaway

I am always looking for ways to make cleaning easier. With an impatient toddler, I don't have the time that I used to.

I am so glad that Pledge came out with a multi surface cleaner! I loved using pledge, but having to switch from one cleaner to another got old. Thanks to Family Review Network and Pledge, I got a chance to try out the new multi surface cleaner.

Photobucket

I can use Pledge Multi Surface Cleaner on all of these surfaces:
-wood
-glass
-mirrors
-granite
-electronics
-wood laminate
-stainless steel
-plastics
-marble
-chrome
-and more

I put it to the test and tried it out on the big standing mirror in our room. Normally, I have to make sure that no pledge gets on the mirror because it will leave a smudge. I was able to spray it on any part of the mirror and just wipe it away. I was left with a clean, streak free mirror!

I moved on to my entertainment center and started spraying away. It effectively cleaned the wood, glass, and TV without leaving any streaks! I loved that I didn't have to change it out for another bottle of cleaner that would make my glass shine. I was able to clean faster and more effectively than I normally can with just Pledge and other cleaners.

Pledge Multi Surface is available in Lavender Fresh and Rainshower. They sent me the Lavender Fresh scent. It is a light, clean smell. I don't use products with strong smells because it gives me a headache. The Pledge Lavender Fresh scent passed my test! It is not strong at all and I can clean my whole house with it and not feel overwhelmed!

Buy It!
Pledge Multi Surface Cleaner has an MSRP of $4.49. If you visit their website, you can get a $1 coupon!

Oh Wow!

For those of you that don't know what this is-it is a screen shot of my keyword analysis on my stat counter. These are keywords that people put in and came across my blog.

Photobucket

Am I the only one that wants to reach through the computer and smack whoever is searching the Internet for this? I'm a tiny bit offended that they ended up on my blog when they did this search! LOL! And in case you were wondering, you can NOT find out how to get high off of Windex here. Sorry, you'll have to keep searching!

AppleCheeks Cloth Diaper Review And Giveaway

I'm rolling right along with this whole cloth diaper adventure. I am so glad that I decided to take the plunge and try it out. I really like it and its not near as hard or time consuming as I thought it would be!

Photobucket

AppleCheeks recently told me about their 2 size diapers. They we super sweet and sent a St. Lucia colored one for my son and a Raspberry Sorbet one for this baby that will be here soon! Size 1 diapers fit from 7-20 pounds and size 2 fits from 18-40 pounds.
Photobucket

First off, I love that AppleCheeks has a wealth of knowledge available for me. Again, I'm a "newbie" at cloth diapering and I still have the simplest of questions. If you click here, you have downloadable washing instructions, video tutorials, and a contact form at your fingertips. They even sent a sheet with pictures on how to put the diaper on correctly. Of course, it's really easy, but it helps if you're a newbie like me! HAHA, I even have this picture where Evan is reading up and making sure I was doing it correctly!
Photobucket

AppleCheeks diapers and accessories are all designed and manufactured in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The diapers are designed to trimly fit a large range of babies and stand up unbelievably well to washing. You also have several options on whether you'd like to use the hemp or bamboo inserts inside the pocket of the cover or on top of the pocket so that you could use the cover again before washing. I tried both ways, but I'm a big fan of putting it inside the micro fleece lining to wick moisture away from my son's skin.
Photobucket

I also think that the snaps are fantastic. My son loves to take off his diapers, but has a harder time with the snaps. I also love that you don't have to line the snaps up perfectly. There are two rows so you can make the waist tighter than the legs if your baby has chunky legs. Evan has evened out, but babies have those chunky legs before they start to walk.
Photobucket

This is the first diaper I've tried that has the elastic on the back and front. It really makes it where the diaper fits more snug and aids in defending against those awful blowouts!

If you're thinking about making the switch to cloth diapers, I have a little more for you to think about. If your baby wears diapers until they are 30 months old, they will go through about 5400 disposable diapers that will cost $1500-$2500. If you use cloth, you will save about $2000 and then can use them later with your other children. It also takes 300 lbs of wood to make those same 5400 disposable diapers. Think of all those trees you'll be saving!

You can purchase AppleCheeks diapers in 10 great colors at these locations for about $18.

Aloha Friday

Photobucket

It's Aloha Friday over at An Island Life! Answer my question and make sure you post one on your blog! After that, go relax because today is Friday!!

My question for this week is:

Do you have a "typical" weekend? What are your weekends like in the spring/summer?

We seem to do the same thing every weekend when the weather is warm. On Fridays I go to my mom's as soon as my little man gets up from his nap and we usually go out and pick up a few things. Hubby gets there when he gets off work and we get dinner and just relax at their house.
Saturdays we get up and do a few things done around the house like cut the grass and then head over to my mom's to relax around the pool. We usually eat dinner over there too. Sometimes we'll go out to dinner or run some errands.
Sundays we go to church and then are pretty much lazy all day.

Cheaper Than Therapy

This picture was taken a year ago. It was his first time at the zoo. Look how small my baby was last year! And that's a bird that we were feeding in my other hand.

ShooShoos Baby Shoes Giveaway

My son didn't wear shoes until he was a year old and could walk. I wasn't aware of all the adorable shoes that are available for babies.

Photobucket

Lucky for this baby that is on the way, I found some cute baby shoes from ShooShoos. ShooShoos started in 1996 and has grown into a worldwide brand with sales in over 20 countries! Their soft soled baby shoes are made with the safest natural leather and are recommended by Pediatricians.

ShooShoos sent us their White/Twin Flower Velcro Soft Soled Leather Baby Shoes. I asked to get them in a size 6-12 months so that our baby girl can wear them next spring/summer. They came in this little plastic bag.
Photobucket

These will be so easy to slip on and off of her tiny feet. They have a Velcro strap and elasticized ankles. She'll be starting to stand and try to walk during that time and these shoes are light, flexible, and have non-slip soles. I don't have to worry about shoes hindering her as she learns to take those first steps. I was always worried about shoes being too heavy when Evan was learning to walk, but with these, my baby girl won't even know she has shoes on!
Photobucket

Not only are they safe for her, they're absolutely adorable! It was so hard for me to choose my favorite style because I want them all. I have a feeling that having a girl to dress is going to get me in trouble! I want her to have these adorable shoes to match every outfit! My only wish is that they didn't have this little tag sticking out. If only it was sewn at the heel as well so it didn't stick out.
Photobucket

ShooShoos also has these Smiley Light Flexi Rubber Soles for when she becomes a pro at walking. They're still supposed to be light, but the bottoms provide a little extra protection.
Photobucket

My wish list continues to grow every time I visit their website! She does need shoes to match every outfit, right?

Buy It!
The White/Twin Flower Velcro Shoes are $19.95 and available in sizes 6-12 months and 12-18 months.

ShooShoos is giving one of my readers a pair of their shoes!

Wordless Wednesday-Sunglasses

Photobucket

I'm not really sure how my husband's sunglasses survived our beach trip last week. I didn't even realize I had a picture of him torturing the sunglasses-but I did!

And those swim trunks are from the Tuga giveaway.
