Leap Frog Text And Learn Product Review And Giveaway

My favorite toys are the ones that teach Evan something. There is nothing better than him having fun while being educated. One of my favorite brand of educational toys is Leap Frog.


Leap Frog has some of the most innovative, technology-based educational products. They are dedicated to providing learning products for a large variety of age groups. They have several resources available on their website including a special Parents Community and Learning Path.

Leap Frog sent us the Text & Learn.


The Text and Learn is designed for children 3 and older and allows them to do several different tasks. They can exchange text messages with puppy pal Scout, check his planner, play games, and more. With the 6 animated games, children will practice letter matching, shape identification, and explore letter names and sounds.


I love that the keypad is actually set up like a real computer keyboard. Teaching children early where keys actually are will help them later in life. Scout does a great job of telling children what the letter is, what sound it makes, and what starts with that letter. When in letter mode, a letter and item that starts with that letter comes up.


There are several games that also help with shape recognition. In the game below, Scout tells you what shape to find. Using the arrows, you find the right shape.


I am so impressed with all of the features on the Text and Learn. Scout makes the games fun so that children will be engaged in learning without knowing it. They did a great job with explaining each letter and the sounds that they make. I feel like Evan will have a jump start at school when the time comes with these toys.
