This really is the first thing that I've done for me since before I had Evan. I am so excited for classes to start. I bought the caddy that is full of 101 pieces so that I have pretty much everything that I'll need to get started. My brother's birthday is Sept 24th and my goal is to decorate a cake for him that looks better than these.
I will be posting about each of my 4 classes and promise to include pictures even if my cakes look horrible!

Good for you. I've always wanted to take classes but never seem to make the time for it. My Mother-in-law has given me all her supplies, so I definetly need to put them to good use.

Have fun! I took a class. I ate the frosting roses that didn't look the best. Bad idea. You can put your mistakes back in the frosting bag.

I took a cake decorating class once when I was teenager and could eat all the cake I wanted without gaining an ounce! I loved it!

I'll be anxious to hear how your first class goes! Are you taking the Wilton class at Joann's? That's the one I want to take but I'm just waiting for it to start on a day that doesn't conflict with my hubby's soccer schedule.
It totally figures, right? Finally, I found something I really enjoy that I can do on my own time but it conflicts with HIS schedule. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get to do anything just for myself!

I'm embarrassed that I'm so late getting over here from SITS. My husband has been out of town for 2 weeks and everything in my life turned chaotic. I've always wanted to take a decorating class like that because everything I've always done has just been from trial and error. I love "creating" a cake & having my girls be so excited about it.
