Pediped Review And Giveaway

If you have a child that has learned to walk, I'm sure you know that they're supposed to learn by walking around barefoot. While I know this is best, I also know that it isn't possible outside. Their feet need to be protected, but I still want to allow them healthy development.



Pediped was launched in 2004 by Angela and Brian Edgeworth after searching for the perfect soft-soled shoes for their daughter. They now have a large selection of soft-soled shoes that provide the health benefits of being barefoot, but a padded sole to protect little feet. I can rest assure that my child is safe with Pediped because they have been officially recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association for contributing to better foot health. Their Original collection is for children 0-2 years old and the Flex collection is for children 1-6 years old.

Pediped sent Isabella a pair of their Giselle-Chocolate Brown with Polka Dots shoes. They came in Pediped's adorable signature purple box. This makes it so much easier for me to keep them looking like brand new until time for her to wear them. I like that I can go ahead and shop for her shoes and just stack the boxes in her closet. No matter what falls on the boxes, they will continue to look brand new!


These shoes are available in sizes 0 months all the way up to 24 months. Since they're brown with several other colors, they will go great with many of her outfits and we will get tons of use out of them. The soles are made with a double layer of leather plus a foam pad so that my baby is sure to be comfortable.


Having to tie shoes for a squirming toddler gets really old and Pediped shoes are Velcro. Sometimes Velcro on shoes is a complete eye sore, but Pediped has hidden the Velcro and your child will continue to look stylish. Even though these shoes are soft soled, they can still be worn outside and will protect your child's feet.


Keep an eye out because Pediped will be introducing their new 2009 Fall/Winter collection in August! The new collection will retail for $32 for the Originals and $44-$59 for the flex shoes.


They will also be introducing "The Couture Collection". It is a safari themed collection that are designed for parents with high fashion styles. The shoes feature ankles straps and leather uppers in leather exotic skins that are sure to be a crowd pleaser!.

I am extremely excited that Pediped has decided to start carrying hair clips by No Slippy Hair Clippy! My little girl will look so adorable in bows that are actually made to match her shoes. They will be available in August and retail for $8.
