I am still learning about cloth diapers and everything that it takes to make the switch. FuzziBunz sent me one of their One Size Diapers so that I could give try it out with my son. There are so many color options, that I can see myself easily becoming addicted. I was really excited to try out a diaper with snaps.
I love that fact that I will be able to use the same diaper and not have to buy new ones each time the baby goes up to the next size. The FuzziBunz One Size Diapers fit babies 7-35 pounds. I can use it on the new baby AND my toddler!
I admit that I was skeptical about a diaper that says it can fit such a wide range of sizes. After looking at all the different adjustments, I can tell that you can make it fit any size baby. The leg casings adjusts to 8+ settings and the waist adjusts to 4+ settings. I have never seen the inside of a cloth diaper that has this elastic and button where you can adjust the size. I believe that they've thought of everything to make sure your baby will always have a snug fit!
FuzziBunz diapers are built to last. You'll want this diaper to last for 3+ years since it is one size. You'll be able to use it for the whole time your child is in diapers and then later with other children. They chose snaps so that it will last and then the elastic can be replaced with no sewing and no seam-ripping.
The only thing that I'm worried about with a One Size Diaper, is the bulkiness for younger babies. Personally, I think I'd rather only have to buy one size and deal with a little bulk early on. After looking at the diaper, I just don't think that it will be very bulky.
I have been using it on my son and I love it. In a recent post I talked about how he was taking off his diapers and with these snap closures, he can't get it off! Of course, that means it is also a little more difficult for me to get on and off, but I consider that a plus! I don't want a diaper that is going to come right off! After a minute or two, I figured out the best way to use the snaps and adjustable elastic so that it was the perfect fit. As you can see in this picture, there is no bulkiness!
If you think you'd prefer the two size option, FuzziBunz also offers the Perfect Size Diapers. These are meant to be more trim. You can learn more about those on their website.
